Hey easy there guys... I was just giving my two cents from a wifes point of view to help out some the guys! Personally, I never ask the hubby to get out of the recliner. But when I know he wants something and sells it as a "need" it just doesn't fly (as I know he has everything he "needs"). But he is spoiled rotten and gets whatever he wants any how so my two cents probably isn't worth much!

My gf spoils me to. If we have the money she lets me have whatever I want. Try telling your significant other you 'need' another sword for your collection. lol

Yup, the hubby has it all. I enjoy shopping for him more then myself. The only time I find I tighten the wallet is if he tries telling me he "needs" something I know he really just wants. It is just silly because I know he "needs" no more guns! But if there is something he wants, it brings me more joy to get it for him. I guess it is like getting a vacuum cleaner for christmas, yes you might have needed one, but it wasn't a fun gift to receive, so how could it be a fun gift to give!

Funny you mentioned swords. He actually had one on his christmas list this year. I didn't get it because I know there were things he wanted more, but I will eventually. The sword thing is a new one. He has every kind of gun and the best bow money can buy with every possible accessory on it, but the sword threw me back a bit, and I can't imagine what its purpose is. Makes me wonder what will come next! Throwing stars maybe (but he might have some of those)

I use Japanese swords and told my girl that they only last about 2 years.

E-cigs last a shorter time than swords I also mentioned.

But really as long as something works well I don't really need to accumulate stuff that I just want.

But I do!

I think it might be a guy thing. Most guys I know live by the "He dies with the most toys win" and seem to be more in competition with their friends!

I've always had a fascination with blades, particularly Japanese swords. I have more knives, daggers and swords than we have silverware. lol I like guns to but my gf doesn't, having been shot once by accident, so swords are all I'm allowed to collect. She also likes swords. This is the next one I want for my collection: Cheness Cutlery - Tenchi Katana - Forged 9260 Carbon Spring Steel Katana Sword..

That looks very nice. I'm not a big fan of guns, I've never been shot, but all the same I'm just not comfortable when one is in the room. The hubby already had a pistol when I met him though and when we moved here to the middle of nowhere the collection just grew. Like them or not, when you live were we do a 40 minute drive to the closest store in the middle of the wilderness, home defense takes on a different meaning then it did when I lived in NY! I might not like the guns but when it comes down to it, if the hubby needs to protect himself from a bear in the woods I would choose the gun over a sword anyday! Hubby had to shoot a kyote in our yard a few years back as it was getting ready to tear up one of dogs.

It is just what people do out here, so I am out numbered.

I'm assuming he is moving on to swords because he has all the guns he possibly "needs." He has about 7 or 8 different guns, rifles etc. and while I like to spoil him I think he knows the way I feel about guns and he has reached his limit there!

Sweet! I like swords a lot. I've been considering to buy one (as a decorative item). There's a shop in Finland which is specialized for all kind of swords and blades. Some of them are pretty awesome! They ship worldwide btw. Here's the link: TERÄ-ASEkeskus

The design I have uses a 14500 battery so that diameter so far it is 3.5 " long .6" around WITH a 510 connection.

I would jump on one this size like a duck on a June bug if it was a VV down to about 2.8 volts. I design and build my own cartomizers using CE-2 coils, which vary all over the place from 2.3 to 4.5 ohms. I have about a ton of these things that I can't use, but I would if I had a suitable battery. Here is one of my cartomizers on a Hello 016 battery, which is about the same size as your design.
