Charlie, how come you ain't come over here to see me? I might be able to update your old cartomizer.

I'm afraid 5C is right Billy, haven’t used a wick-&-cup device since discovering the Fusion’s and tank. But we can get together anyway, just got in Saturday, been to GOM then a land rig since Mexico, maybe home now for a while.

Then I'll get a chance to see what the Fusion is all about.

No smoke over here.

ya, i have some 801 to 510 adaptors to spare now that i have a new 801 Buzz and 801 tops for my old ones. What do you think of the DC's? i had my few fusions go bad on me in Mexico and liked the DC more than the new E2's. Havn't tried you're masterpiece i have to compare yet, will do that when have time, BUT a Fusion and tank is SO KISS now

I'm having a hard time keeping my juice consumption down to 6ml per day on about 3 watts of power, so don't need anything that will produce more. Therefore, I have not tried the DC's. However, I built a dual coil E2 way back there that put out an insane amount of vapor.

i forgot about that br, what a beast
i turn the DC's way down, too much vapor at the bottom volts of a buzz without feathering the button but worked best when i ran out of fusions so still using/ordering DC's

You need a Buzz that will go to a lower voltage, and so do I, heheh.

I've tested the Fusions, but not in a tank. Can't really say yet if they are the best in a tank.
they do seem better in a tank but not much, can't be much difference like the E2 tanks that keep the wicks off the wall for better wicking and make them better. All the tank does [should do?] for the fusions is keep them wet.
What did you think of them br? i missed a LOT, internet sometimes at some jobs.

I was fairly impressed with the pre-release Fusions that I tested. The best I remember was that the coils were about 2.5Ω, which made them a bit too strong for me on a KR808 battery. But then, I expect a lot of people would like them better because of that. I did part of my testing on a pass through with a variable power supply, and was pleased with them at 2.8 volts. However, I gave them a fairly good workout at their rated voltage.

One of them was assembled somewhat poorly, so it burned a small spot on the diaper and ruined the taste. The others did not burn, regardless of how dry I ran them. As a matter of fact, I developed what I call a reverse dry burn and rejuvenated the coil on the last one to extend the life for several more fillings. If I had to go back to a filler type carto, these are the ones I'd probably use. Of course, I'd build a tank for them, heheh.

thanks br, not the first time I've hijacked one of Mike's threads, sorry Mike, love my new buzz!

the tanks seem to be the thing, remember when you started cutting plastic bottles to make em for E2's then settled on the size of the masterpiece (coincidentally the same diameter of Stormy's ) as it. nothing new under the sun. I'll go to your haunts to get caught up. saw the Tupperware E2's
