The SVD2 by itself has that appearance. I've got both Silver and the Black one and I see what you did with you're end caps. Looks good. That's the only Evolv board I have.

I thought about doing up some striped ones with KFV4's on top. Just couldn't be bothered. I knocked the spring loose on the original one so I just grabbed a base of a dud and put it on. I keep this one on use and all the rest packed away.

Good Morningz/Afternoonz/Eveningz/Nightz

Reminds me of when my family first got an answering machine. My brother, who must have had dreams of being a radio D.J. recorded the outgoing message (he really has a silky baritone voice)

"Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening.
Wherever you are in this wonderful world of ours, Hello!
Leave a message after the tone, and if it's important to us, we'll return your call."

@lil_buddy I feel your pain, I've tried building several times but my hands are to shaky. I just find it really fiddly and can never get those tiny screws to screw in, so I just stick to my triton mini with stock coils now. It has very good flavor.

I'm glad to come across this forum too, there's to many that are all on sub ohming an dtl

I'm sure there are many MTL vapers here that are cracking open blister packs of coils. We just don't have as many new options to talk about. Rebuilding and sub ohm aren't the only way to vape, but they are dominating the conversations.

One option is to buy pre-wrapped coils that you can find on Fasttech and use an RTA like the Ubertoot or similar deck that uses grub screws instead of philips/flat head.

Simply insert ready made coil into the holes and tighten grub screw with allen wrench.

This still may be too much depending on level of shakiness but just putting info out there for consideration if interested.

I love my stm RBAs. Aren't they great, just as easy to rewick as CLR coils!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They were the first rba that I ever built. LOL For me they are a little easier to build because they are not as small as the CLR's.

:)

Subtank minis were my first RBA as well....I found them much easier to rebuild than my tiny protank coils.:)

Factory coils were fine in my Nautilus, but the cost was way too high to keep buying them. A roll of wire and a pack of Kho Gen Do will last years for a total investment of $20 +/-. Kayfuns and other MTL rebuildables are commonly under $20 on sale.

I agree that sub ohm and high wattage are the latest rage. 10W is still satisfying for me. Sometimes, on a new coil I drop to 7W or 8W for a while. As long as there are reading glasses and I can get the mini screwdriver into the screw heads I'll be recoiling!

I tried getting on about an hour ago and all I kept getting was that 404 something notice. I guess server was down.

I just assumed it was my ISP :p:p:p

Me Too... I thought the server was down as well.I gotta have my ECF read with my morning coffee and vape...Glad it's back!
