Well that was interesting! I'm using DH's ipad so had to google ECF. The first entry googled found was a site called Vice of which I've never heard but what caught my eye was that it had a vaping article online. So I thought I'd check it out. Here is the link if you want to read it. The E-Cigarette Debate Has Exploded on Internet Forums.

At the very end of the article it mentions that our Oliver bought vaping.com ( did eveyone but me know that?). So I went to vaping.com/About us. Interesting reading.

I know nothing about Vice so can't vouch for its content but the "about us" section on Vaping.com mentions it.

Last week I received an iCare Solo, and I find it's a pretty good vape. I bought it just to use for short trips away from the house and I can easily slip it into my shirt pocket.
Previously I tried the iCare 16, and mini, then sold them, because without a fire button they just did not work that well for me. The Solo, with a button, makes all the difference to me.
I haven't tried any of the other Pods, but if it doesn't have a button, I wouldn't mess with it.
I have one of the original icares without a button and at first it felt kind of weird and reminded me of the old stuff I used when I started vaping.

But I got used to it and since I only use it as a backup to stash in my purse when I'm out for the day or for stealth vaping, it suits me fine.
:confused::confused::confused:
Are you saying there is more to the internet than ECF?

Yes there is. Sites to buy vape stuff. Sites to watch vape stuff. Sites to fix vape stuff. Tracking sites to wait for vape stuff.

I agree that sub ohm and high wattage are the latest rage. 10W is still satisfying for me. Sometimes, on a new coil I drop to 7W or 8W for a while. As long as there are reading glasses and I can get the mini screwdriver into the screw heads I'll be recoiling!

Funny! that's what I do to. But I never go above 8W.
Are you guys trying to blow big ol' cloudz or sumppin?
I run 5-6W most of the time.

Thought this was a good video and appropriate for this thread. I agree with pretty much everything he says including the gaping hole in the industry left by the exit of provape.

This is EXACTLY why we need to continue to support new MTL devices like the Nautilus 2, Innokin T18, KFMV3, etc. that are built for MTL, low watt, above ohm vaping. Even if we don't want the devices ourselves buy some and give them away!

And whenever you hear terms like "beginner vape" defining good MTL tanks or "my vaping evolved" when describing high watt/sub-ohm, stop that crap dead in its tracks! Those terms carry shame for those who don't sub-ohm and that is a load of who who :)

Rant over.

I like this reviewer. He is the reason I have a Taifun Gt 3 coming in the mail. I also agree with what he had to say.

It's interesting to watch. In many threads, the vapers are trying to out do each other in one direction...

"Dude, I never vape below 100 watts."

"HA! I haven't been down that low since 2015. It's 200 or nothing."

"Ha ha!! Since I got the RX300, I've never dropped below 250."

Then I come over here...

"7 or 8 watts, max."

"What? That's crazy. I hover around 5."

"Wow! That's too high. I shuffle my sock feet on carpet and put wattage INTO my mod through static electricity."

Today's project is not using mesh as wick, but as a coil! Looks interesting!

You are more adventurous than me! My project was wicking with rayon on Kayfun. After two tries it is vaping great. Great flavor on this mini.

And I will be trying the Smok mod only....not interested in any beasties, lol

Once again you lead us into uncharted waters we may be skeerd of dipping a toe in! You would have fit right in in the early days, when almost anything we saw was a potential vape toy!

I draw the line at wicking made of hairballs though.
