T for Texas!
It's interesting to watch. In many threads, the vapers are trying to out do each other in one direction...

"Dude, I never vape below 100 watts."

"HA! I haven't been down that low since 2015. It's 200 or nothing."

"Ha ha!! Since I got the RX300, I've never dropped below 250."

Then I come over here...

"7 or 8 watts, max."

"What? That's crazy. I hover around 5."

"Wow! That's too high. I shuffle my sock feet on carpet and put wattage INTO my mod through static electricity."

Once again you lead us into uncharted waters we may be skeerd of dipping a toe in! You would have fit right in in the early days, when almost anything we saw was a potential vape toy!

I draw the line at wicking made of hairballs though.

We'll see if it's as easy to install as it was in the video, I think that will be the hardest part. But who knows, it took me a couple months of practicing to make decent coils and that looked easy too!

It did look so easy. What I didn't expect was how small everything was when you actually made a coil and wicked it. They trick you with the magnification, lol

Oooo, good deal. Only left in blue though. Too bad I have to be a good girl this week. ;)
Wow. Just minutes before I posted they had both colors.
Too bad it starts at 10 watts, not for me.
I saw that but then it also says that it goes as low as 3.2V. 7W, which you said you vape, is about 3.3-3.4V according to the chart and my pico. So shouldn't that work for you?

Yes, I felt the exact same way. I stole a jewelers loupe from the hubby to make things easier but I really want one of those lighted jewelers headsets.

Somehow we need to start a new fashion to see how low (watts, not Ohms) you can go and make it something the coolest of the cool kids do.

3.4w on a radius with a 2.5 pt coil. That would be the absolute minimum to keep me from smoking.

Thanks for the help! Unfortunately, most of the newer devices only work in watts, not variable voltage, so you can't go below their minimum wattage. That minimum voltage they show is based on using a subohm coil and can't actually be reached with the 2+ohm coils I use. I'm typically at 6 watts, give or take .2.

The good news is that many mods do have the step down circuit needed to go as low as one watt, so there's plenty to choose from when I want to venture away from my ProVaris for a bit! My latest cheap options are the SVD 2.0 and Vaporflask clone, and I chose the Vaporflask clone. I may end up with the SVD too, stealing the DNA board for the flask lol.

Well that leaves me out too because I vape at 3.3-3.4.
