I do know what i'm doing with the magnets is a bit dangerous but the provari it will shut down before it vents. There is no way in hell I would use a magnet in a mech or unregulated hitter. I've only dropped my provari once out of my lap in the truck and I can't remember what batts it had in it. I wouldn't advise magnets if your a rough and tumble or hard on hitters cause the chance of the magnet shifting is great vs Shawns more stable insert.

Yup. Not intending to flame you, but very safety conscious... I'm glad you're aware of the issues. Some still aren't.

I put this solution under "break glass in case of emergency" The main reason my 2.5's are in rotation and the rest are in a box. They are the only 2 mods that need button tops.

As the brass plate is set in a plastic disk, there's no chance that it'll slip or slide. Greatly reduces the chance of an accidental short.

So that thing isn't held fastened to the battery magnetically?

Ehpro mod 101
First Impressions

It's flippin' gorgeous! Although the tube is a 3 piece tube, and allows for use with an 18350, 18500(?), or 18650, it's virtually impossible to spot the seams. I am running in 18650 mode, now, and I see no real reason to change.

The battery cap is a bit odd. It's internal... the smallest tube is unscrewed, and the cap - which is actually just there to take up slack and eliminate battery rattle - screws into the inside from the outside... Odd, I tell ya, but it works! I believe this will accommodate a button top, even.

As this device has but one button, the menu is also a bit different. It's five clicks to power on, five clicks to power off, and three clicks to get into the menu. Once there, pressing the button will round-robin through all the options: Power, Temp (only shows on TC mode), Work Mode, Calibration, Display, and Exit. When the item needing adjusted is showing, waiting a couple seconds will activate it. Once adjusted, waiting again will put the mod back into operating mode. The work modes are Bypass, Power, TC Ni, TC Ti, and TC SS. When adjusting power or temp, it takes slow even pushes. Pushing rapidly two times flips the direction of travel. For instance, adjusting wattage up from 10 to 12 watts is click... click... click... click (it adjusts in .5 watt increments). Pressing clickclickclickclick, on the other hand will increase 1 watt, flip direction of travel to down and decrease 1 watt before flipping again. Imagine my surprise when I wanted to go up five watts, clicked 20 times, and wasright where I started! Temperature adjusts the same way, but in 10 degree increments while in F and 5 degree increments in C. The range is pretty standard... 100 - 300 C, and 200 - 600 F. Everything round-robins both directions.

In operation, it's good. Power mode vapers, especially, will be happy with the performance. In SS TC, I find it is running a bit cool.

Of course, I've only had it an hour, so there's a lot left to play with, but first impressions are positive.

YMMV

And for all those vika fantasy clone lovers it will look stunning with a vika plus a SnP SS tube.

Wait a bit... I might think it sucks in a day or so :)

Always wait for the three day rule. Long enough to get over the initial new joy, and long enough to find the little niggling things that bug you.

Ugh! Unfortunately this was an ad from a previously recorded show so I didn't catch the segment but the commercial was going on about risky behaviors by teens today. I just find it disheartening that this was the photo they chose to use with the tag line.

@VapeLuvr . . . Are the DT's in the 3rd section on the bottom of the storage box (between the Black & Purple) - Pyrex or Plain Glass? Regular or Wide Bored Holes? Where did you purchase them? How much? I have been looking to get more of the Pyrex ones w/Regular hole DT . . . ;)

Uncle Happy Birthday. I think. I will come back with cake (sugar and fat free)

I got my Nectars on Saturday. You guys can have all you want. I don't like mine at all so they'll go into the stash box for if and when there comes a time that I don't have anything else to use. I bought 2, got a coil in the first one after changing the post screws and the flavor is ok but there's not near enough airflow for me. It might be a good tank to use on the Provari. The 2nd one, I can't get the damned screw out of the center post to change them out. It won't budge. The whole center post will come out but that screw won't.

I had that happen to my replacement base for my Merlin, one of the set screws was in the post so tight (from the factory) that it couldn't be budged, and since it was a Allen head I didn't want to strip out the Allen wrench either, so it's still in there tight as can be and of absolutely no use to me whatsoever. I hate when they have Gorilla's assemble my vape gear.

Those are button tops right? I was thinking of trying something different in a Provari. I normally go to Illum Supply, they have a button top LG but it's been out of stock for a while. Where did you get the Samsungs?
Sony,LG,Panasonic,Samsung
They have the lg in stock.
