Very Nice!
I had an Beckman Tech 310 back in the day, served me well for a long time. All I have these days is a cheapie DVM, a Triplett 3022 analog and an old black Amprobe RS-3. ;)

Most of the time I use digitals from Harbor Freight. They are quick and easy to use and I have several scattered around the house and in my basement workshop.

My favorite is this one for $59.95.

Do you have another tank to put on their to see if it reads the Resistance/Ohms right?

I do. just don't have the time to fiddle with it all tonight. Had the funeral, went to pick up the trailer for the move, which wasn't the trailer he was shown, It was a 12x6' enclosed, no where near big enough! So I hauled home and hooked up my trailer, 16'x86", but as I left the neighborhood it jumped off the ball? Second time in my life that has happened, and me, being me, I screwed up and picked it up to put it back on the ball. I'm going to be screwed up for a week after that! So I'm loaded up on pain killers, it's working, and it's best I don't dive to deep into it tonight. As well as I still need to go spend some time with my friend who's dad died (the funeral I went to today), keep an eye on the neighbor who's wife just died, he was beating on my door at 10:30pm last night in a really bad state, and try to help with another friends move! I'm stretched a LOT thin ATM!
Like I say, I'll be giving a better break down when things slow down around here, but right now this is just initial impressions.

I forgot to reply to that @TrollDragon My Flukes are no where NEAR that side of Quality/Price lol
I wish though!

I used to work on HVAC's and Appliances a lot and the Fluke has always been my favorite brand for Meters and other Testers/Analyzers! I think I payed around $300 for my Fluke 116 7 years ago, which you can get for around $150 now. But that meter did everything I needed to when Working on HVAC's(It is based off the Fluke 115 but more features to suit the HVAC field) and paired with the Fluke 89TK Module along with a 80PK-8 Pipe Clamp, It gave the most Accurate Temperature reading out of any other Thermometer made for that!
Given this is about 8 Year old Equipment, that had very low prices, they performed WAY better than I thought they would!
I wished I could have afforded Flukes very high end equipment, Me and my Dad used to always spend money on tools we didn't need(Wait is there such a thing? Nvm that was my mom yelling at us), but wanted anyway considering how much stuff they good do and how Accurate they were..:D

As for you @DaveP How could you forget a FLUKE 87?!?! :-x:w00t:

I knew that I had the Simpson to swap, but couldn't locate it in time. These days the high end Chinese meters are more than sufficient for personal use.

Another update, I'm sure by now you are sick of my posts so I'll stop after this.
I tried numerous dt's on the Theorum, they were all very loose, really loose! I took the dt off my Fogger, added an over size o-ring, I can get the size of needed, but that changed everything on this atty! Very nice for MTL hits now. I'll play some more and report back, but for now, it's much better!

Dental floss is your friend when it comes to loose drip tips. Remove orings, couple of rounds of dental floss, return o-ring and you are good to go.

I have an O-ring kit, so it was just a matter of grabbing one that was a bit larger, but I'll remember that tip in the future.

Looks like a decent little meter, a copy of the Mastech MS8229. Supposedly you should be able to tap into the RS232 port on the board and do data logging with it.

Here is the info on Dave's site:

I read an article that said the HF meters are made by Mastech. I have the red one and the green one from HF as well as half a dozen of the small ones they sell for about $4 and also give away free sometimes. One in the car, one in my gig bag for the band, and one on every floor in my house, as well as one in the basement!

Ha, I was in a new Harbor Freight they just built near me today and noticed that meter, didn't really think anything of it, it was right under the "Red Ones"! Interesting!

It's probably the best one they sell. All of them work well.

The big red one has a push on-push off power switch that's easily pressed when you put it in a tool box. The 9V battery will be dead when you next pick it up making you think it's failed because it won't turn on. On the plus side, it has larger display digits, but the green one is also readable from a distance.

The green one turns on when you rotate the selector switch. The top center position is OFF. No issues with accidental power on causing a dead battery.

Please consider all posts in the previous kazillion posts, liked. I'm trying to catch up but my peepers are burnin pea holes. A nasty bug took a hold of me last Saturday and I've been basically horizontal and drooling (not the prettiest of visuals) since then. Only a coupla toots for about 4 days. I must be on the mend; refilled 2 tanks last night and almost time to refill again.
Cheers all
