Yes....perfectly but it needs to pass the three day test.

Oh you meant the BB ......not yet ;)

Actually it did not last the day. He is used to Wismec Presa and Istick 60 so the weight of this was an issue. I suppose because I prefer lighter devices he gets used to what I buy him.

Got the move done, the neighbor is out of the hospital and staying at his daughters for a while and I got the rented trailer back this morning.
Now I get to play with my Pico and Theorum setup. The Pico keeps changing it's wattage setting and the resistance on the Theorum keeps jumping around on me. Started at .66, then settled in around 1.4 but it's still jumping from 1.6-1.4 for some reason? I've tightened the pee wadding out of the grub screws, but it's still moving around. The Pico, I set it at 13 watts, then it just keeps dropping, right now it's down to 10.6 for some reason. I may just put the KFL on it for the rest of today to see how it acts with that.

Hey folk, need some advice. My wife has been vaping a genitank/itaste setup for over a year. She is completely happy with kanger 1.8 dual coils and vapes around 8 watts. She wants me to set her up with a simple RTA. Single coil. That is similar to what she has now because she will be satisfied forever. I'm ordering her an eleaf Pico to test out. Seems like a logical step with the replaceable 18650. She will never need the 75W power but the form factor, easy charging, and replaceable battery will work fine.

Buying 10 years of kanger heads is stupid and I won't do it. A simple RTA that performs well and is easy to build will take care of her for years. If I find one that works then I can just order 10 of them and move on.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Get several kayfun clones. I prefer the 2.1 over the 3 or the 4 for similarity with the genitank. It is single coil, great flavor, and does well at the wattage range you are looking for. If you want top fill go for the kayfun 4 or the new kayfun mini 3, both of them are top fill. The mini 3 is 18 mm, much like the genitank, the others are all 22mm which will fit fine on the pico but are larger than she is used to. There are some kayfun mini clones out now, just make sure you are looking at the mini 3, the other minis are the size of evods.

That Kayfun looks perfect. Thank you. I'll build the coils for my wife but she'll probably re-wick herself. How often do you need to re-wick and replace coils?

Use the KFs almost exclusively now. Mostly the Lite V2s.

Coils will last a long time. Months.

Wicks.... well, lots of variables there. What material? What juice? Some will gunk rapidly, some not. So hard to say. Some flavors will do it in just a couple or so tank fulls, some go much longer.

We both vape my DIY hangsen tobaccos. Very easy going on coils. She gets a full week out of a Kanger dual coil before needing to switch it out. Rayon wick most likely. It's what I like the best.

As said, the coils will last a long time, just dry burn them when you change out the wick to get the gunk off of them.
I'm using NET juice so the wicks gunk up pretty quick, a week or so, for me.
Using the Kayfun on my Pico and not a problem one, I must have an issue with my build.
My wire didn't show up today so I checked the tracking on Amazon. Yeah, it's been here since last Thursday! I just thought it was something the wife ordered as I didn't expect it to show that fast! Don't you hate that? Maybe here in a while I'll do a SS build on the Theorum to try the TC and see what's going on with my other build.

Should be able to go the same or longer in the KF, then. As mentioned, dry burn the coil (if needed and if kanthal!) when you rewick.

And rayon (all I use) will likely go longer :)

Not a happy camper today! Been trying to play with the Pico/Theorum combo this afternoon, it's not going well! I took the Theorum apart to clean it, wanted to use another juice and the SS cover came off the glass? I then did a 22ga SS build, 4mm wrap, not sure how many wraps, but my metter got .7. Put it on the Pico, set it to TC at 260deg and 20w. Well, putting it together I was getting juice all over the place? I dunno, cleaned everything up and started vaping. Now, the coil was rather large and the glass was hard to come off when I cleaned it.
But the Pico kept going into VW, not staying in TC? I read the book, locked the ohms and tried again. No love, back to VW?
Then it happened, I heard the faint "ting". Yup, sure enough, crack in the glass! GRRRRRR!!!!
I've since put a stock notch coil in it, set up TC and a new glass, it's working fine now? 300deg at 35w, just chugging along fine.
I don't really care for the juice, something another member sent me with a purchased item, but I'm low on everything else so making due.
But I'm not sure about all this TC stuff! No idea why my 22ga SS wire at .56 ohms kicked the Pico into VW mode but the stock coil at .22 ohms works fine?

You jammed 15+ wraps of 22g SS into the Theorem...

I run the Notch Coil at 460F/35W anything below 400F really doesn't produce anything resembling an enjoyable vape.

If the setup is giving you a satisfying vape at 300F then there is a problem with the locked vs coil resistance, you really shouldn't get much at 300F. o_O

Unless you are comparing it to a stock coil eVod quality.

They just hauled the neighbor off in an ambulance. He'd eaten a bunch of pills and chased it with a pint of tequila.
I'm really considering loading up the notch coil and feeding it tonight!
That is so sad! It's good that you were available to be there so quickly, tho. I'm sorry your other friend is mad at you. There's only so much of you to go around.
