Thanks a lot, Kenna. I'm takin' baby steps for sure. Apparently this bug likes to make you think it's done. Then it creeps back when you're not looking.
Sneaky thang! The ones that hit hard & last for days will do that. Give yourself time to be sure it's done or it come back.

Thank you! My first time with SS! Did I ever mention how much I like my coil master kit?
I won a Coil Master kit from Robert the Armed Vapor's live show a few months back. I just love it, even though I 98% of the time use spaced coils I wrap em and then pull the outside leg to stretch it out then compress it back together and it makes perfect spaced coils.

I found carto's I wanted at Ikenvape for 95% off list price as they are closing :( I should be jumping for joy I got 6 box's of carto's shipped for 6 bucks but it is pretty crappy they are going out of business. I know they have been around for years and this is going to be the norm pretty soon. Lots of our favorite trusted retailers will be shutting down.

This wasn't anything to do with what's coming down the pike. Poor Issac's had a tough go of it. Damn near bankrupt twice from getting ripped off by vendors, etc., then with everyone going RDA/RTA he just couldn't afford to make all the changes in inventory to keep up.
It really sucks! I love the guy! Had a few late night, one too many, phone conversations with him! Need to give him a call for a pick me up sometime honestly! He's one of a kind and sure did a lot to help the vaping community!

I'm a man, do you really think I'm going to follow directions off of some random web site?o_O Yes, it's 316L, and yes, it's too big for the Theorum! I may try it again, I may not. I was trying to shoot for something over .5 ohms. Not feeling all the love for TC yet. I'm using the notch coil right now and it's doing alright, 310deg at 35w. I amped it up to 400deg, but no love! Certainly not with my 36mg juice! Then I started coming down until I found a happy place. I still want to drop the watts to see how it goes, but after the day I've had, it's such a pain to get into that menu, and I'm tired!

Yes, I used the glass that had the SS on it. Watching the vids they made it sound like it was the same thickness as the others, and the SS cover slides right over the other glass? I'll be curious what, if anything they have to say.

Sorry to read about all the problems, they can be quite tiring.

The wattage function in TC vaping basically controls how fast the coil will reach the set temperature. Temperature is the primary setting, but lowering the watts will reduce the power ceiling the device will use to maintain the set temperature.

Interesting about the SS sleeve fitting the regular glass. Hopefully you hear from the manufacturer, also contact where you picked it up to see about a warranty replacement.

Congrats on actually being able to sit through a Robert Ellis video or live show.

Yeah, if I feel better tomorrow I'll put the calipers on the glass and get true measurements on them, just to see for sure.
I'm not ......, but certainly disappointed. Had it cracked, or shattered when I dropped it, sure, I get it. But to slide off while washing it, then to crack right after that?

So I had to swap batteries and toppers, put the KFL back on, so I went ahead and measured the glass. Both new and broken are the same, .862" OD and .054" thick. So no SS shouldn't have mattered on cracking the glass. In theory, I should be able to use some sort of glue to hold it on another tank glass? I might just put a wrap of electrical tape around it to hold it on?

A dab or two of thick super glue in some strategic places or a little epoxy. Epoxy will be more difficult as its super thick and could get very messy. I would go with the super glue but just remember that water will break it down over time.

My sister and I had a bug that sounds kinda like what you have. You'd be sick, then start feeling better, then WHAM your back in bed for a few days. For me it lasted around a month with a residual dry cough that lingered on for longer. My sister was sick for a good two months she got a round of antibiotics from the doctor and it still hung around. She had a tiredness that went on for what seemed to be forever, but she did eventually get better.

Perhaps I wasn't as sick as my sister because I vape and she doesn't,I've read somewhere that PG has an antiseptic quality to it.Who knows ???

Get better soon JK!!!

Sounds a lot like what my husband and I had through February/March - he had it worse than me (doesn't smoke or vape but is on immunosuppressant medication) but it seemed to go on for ever - I actually got quite depressed with how long it hung around, particularly as, as you say, you'd begin to feel better and then it would be back again :( Glad you and your sister are over it too :)

That's happened to me with a brand new Kraken Genisis.I opened the box looked at my new atty carried it to the sink to clean it,started to take it apart and the glass literally just crumbled into 4 pieces.
Geez,I was really looking forward using it as it would have been my very first rebuildable.
It was only 12 bucks....but still!!!

Some Canadian places still have replacement glass available.
Replacement Tank For Kraken Atomizer

With the price of shipping here in Canada it would be better to just another Kraken from FT, FC or 3F unless you have a bigger order with the Canadian company.

My sister had the same...sick, recovered, sick, recovered...
I think she had it about 4 times before finally shaking it. Or has she?...
Thanks SNM, I'm on my way to feeling better :)

Hey folk, need some advice. My wife has been vaping a genitank/itaste setup for over a year. She is completely happy with kanger 1.8 dual coils and vapes around 8 watts. She wants me to set her up with a simple RTA. Single coil. That is similar to what she has now because she will be satisfied forever. I'm ordering her an eleaf Pico to test out. Seems like a logical step with the replaceable 18650. She will never need the 75W power but the form factor, easy charging, and replaceable battery will work fine.

Buying 10 years of kanger heads is stupid and I won't do it. A simple RTA that performs well and is easy to build will take care of her for years. If I find one that works then I can just order 10 of them and move on.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I like the Kayfun V4 for the airflow control. I have some KF mini V3's on order. For replaceable battery mods, I have SVD2 and Defenders. I like the step down for low wattage's.

I used protank minis before I went to single coil rebuildables,I've tried a few and glad I found the kayfun.I have three 3.1 ES's and pretty much use them exclusively.Once you get the hang of making coils and wicking they're "easy peasey lemon squeezy"

I vape basically clear juices,I roll 2 ohm coils with 30 gauge kanthal,8 wraps 2.24mm inner I.D. @6 watts. The coils last a long long time and I rewick about once every 1 to 2 weeks

Glad I found Kayfun!
