I've seen the heatvape kayfun on the canvape website before and it seemed decent enough, although I haven't tried it.I've tried two style kayfun clones the KF 3.1ES and the KF Lite Plus, they both vape excellent,I'm sure yours will too.

No you can't use the PT coils in the kayfun, you'll either have to make your own OR get some of those pre-wicked coils and use them, here's a link at the Canvape site...(10 for $1.99)

Premade Coil 4 wick @ 1.5, 1.8 or 2.4ohm 10 pack (Rebuildable)

Have fun JK
Thanks SNM, I'll check out the link. I appreciate your help, big time.

I will post more but don't hold your breath for pics. I don't have a host for pics.

Achilles V2 style on a Defender. 1.8 ohms, 7 watts, yum yum. ;)

I post straight from my phone, tablet, or laptop as all my pics are right there. Here's my handcheck.

And if I can kinda do it, anyone can!
Still on my Pico with the Theoreom, .2 ohm notch coil. Finally got my large bottle of NET from Heather's today:rickroll:
I'm not feeling well enough to do the pick thing tonight, sorry!
No wonder! You've been thru a lot in the past few weeks. You need to give yourself a break.
I have a Rituxan infusion tomorrow for RA. Gotta warn y'all, I get a little (lot) crazy on steroids, & I have to get a huge steroid starter before they start the Rituxan drip. So if I get out of line I probably don't realize it. So it's ok to tell me to shut up, I won't be mad at all. But I usually catch myself before I go too far.

    I see neither a hand nor a check...people always teasing me saying they are gonna hand me a check, and instead just posting pictures of gear causing me to hand someone else a check. {grumble grumble}

    jus sayin'

    this is not a good thing ^ ↑ ↑ ^

they will rust, you need to drop some eJuice onto them so to preserve them... IMO (ask me how I know):oops::D

    ;)
Only if you are using kanthal ... nichrome or SS doesn't "rust" (aka ferrous oxide).

:) I contest it ALL rusts

•mineral deposits from water left to linger...
•all dry'd out from alchohol usage
    •threads, o-rings, wall surfaces...
•even when doing the right thing and enclosed in a sealed cont
    ainer

I find it best to leave them in their natural state , bathed in eJuice... :D

    of course JMO :thumb:

I just got an airflow reduction for the Subtank Mini.

The original airflow tube of the rba measures 3mm. My reduction measures at 1,5mm.
The problem with the big airflow tube in the Subtank rba is that the air passes the coil too slow while MTL vaping. I instantly coughed when I try to MTL the Subtank RBA or stock direct lung coils.

Just played a little bit and right now I´m using a 1 Ohm, 2,5mm Kanthal A1 26GA built and it works great.

This is what the reduction looks like:

left is 2mm diameter, right is 1,5mm

Awaiting my 2nd order of vape mail. Ordered a whack of PT2 coils, a second Istick 30W, coupla Ming drip tips and, what was I thinking? - a kayfun v2.1...whaaaaaat??? I don't build my own coils but, but, but it was only 14 bucks. Sigh. Well, I figured, what the heck, I'll put it away for now and at least I'll have it should the notion to build take hold.

I'm realizing, for now, I like things simple. Yep, still love my eGo one batts topped with my PT2'S or Nauti Mini and my Istick 30's.

This is what I love about this thing called vaping. It's whatever blows yer hair back. It's also what I love about the T-Puffers forum...anything goes, no judgement and lots of help just a few keyboard strokes away.

    Cheers All

    Have we created a monster.

JK we would never judge and you help us just as much.

Keep all your dead PT coils. It's a great way to start rebuilding your own coils if and when you want to start. Then you are covered for vapegheddon with gear you like using. :p

I am trying to cut back to simple as well and limit the number of different types of coils and gear I use. Having said that I have some herons and spheroids that I loaded up again and I forgot how lovely a vape they are. They are my vapegheddon stash along with my calix. That will do me. (For now) ;)

I decided early on to keep all my gear the same in order to not have to stock to much different stuff.
