Sorry to be taking so much time on this, but I'm just dying to solve the problem![emoji51]

I have one tank (stm) that will fire only one one mod. Mine has to do with the connection between the base and the mod 510 pin. No matter how much I tried to raise the 510 pin on the mod(s) I was trying to use it would just not make the connection. So now I only use that one stm tank on that one mod. Sometimes you just have to accept that.

So did you try the stm on another mod to see if it would fire?

Yes, I've tried several mods with the same result.

Post #6 says he replaced the 510 pin. Are those universal size?

I think that person said they replace the insulator - the rubber bit.

Try to pull out the bottom pin of the RBA just a touch.

Yes! I had an issue where one coil head was like a hair longer than another between the part that sits in the base and the end of the bottom pin. The longer coil head pushed the pin in the base out so then the shorter one wouldn't wouldn't work because it could no longer make the connection in the base.

This happened to me too.

I gave up on one of the hubbys kfm v3 mini clones today, the darn thing just keeps shorting out. Just broke it up for spare parts for the working one. One of the shorty kayfuns arriving tomorrow and a doggy coming on Friday. Still looking for his unicorn tank. Out of the blue he did tell me he set a quit date for combustible tobacco, our vacation starting June 17.

Tell hubs to stick with it, find the gear that works for him and never look back.( I know vaping works because at one time, years ago, I was smoking 4 packs of Shermans a day!)
