I never used the stock heads at all. I bought 3 packages of heads and still have 2 1/2 packs after all these years. I just kept on with the heads that came in the kits and bought 3rd party orings and insulators. Took the new coil and tore it apart then set my own build into them. I have no idea how many PT 1,2 and mini's I have but got several of each still sealed in their boxes. Same with Kayfuns, loved their vape and build variety(back in the day) so bought all kinds of parts and attys so I'd never run out.
Definitely same for me on the KFL, I have dozens and dozens of parts to make all types of configs.

The way the UK peeps describe the naturevape coil definitely makes the PT sound tempting. They are so cheap I might pick one up just to fiddle with.

Can someone explain to me how this naturevape coil is superior to a protank coil. I just looked on the site and to me it looks like a cotton protank head but at 6 pounds each that is @9 bucks for me it better be something special.

I was wondering that too. Also, all the links to their youtube videos are dead.

I learned about them on a UK forum but not sure posting to another forum is allowed here.

Here is Todd reviewing.

I think they put extra effort in the rebuild, nothing you couldn't do yourself with the right tools.

The nature vape coils are made with no res- res - no res wire and cotton. They work great, but it`s not hard to do yourselves.
I have been making coils like that for years, a friend of mine only use protanks, and my rebuilt heads.
Works good, and easy for him.

There are tons of video tutorials on rebuilding these. Here's some...

I use the dual coil heads to rebuild and make ovular coils with two rods stuck together. I tried the zip tie but it was annoying.

Also, there are SS316L welded wires which are in my cart. I want to try them in TC. Has anyone here tried that?
$2.43 Authentic MKWS NR-R-NR Resistance Wire for RBA Atomizers (100-Pack) - 30 AWG / 0.25mm dia./0.25mm dia. / 1ohm / 120mm/pc at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
(drop down menu has other resistances)

I bought some, haven't used it yet.

Corn flakes - is that cilika good ? Using those would save lots of time, but unfortunately, my friend, doesen`t like cilika, or cotton, only rayon.

I prefer silica. Haven't got on with cotton or rayon. @Krisma uses these with rayon I think.
