It’s a top fill melo basically as far as I understand it. I’m interested in the mod not the tank. After buying that lavabox for $32 I’ll probably not get one but it’s an affordable solution to the mini ecig dna 60 at $150 though the mini ecig product is a lot nicer and has many more options.

Is anyone using the ehpro 101 tube?

I wear my typos like the badge of honor they are. Then I try to go back and fix them, so refresh.

I bought a couple and they are very good for the price. My biggest issue is they go to sleep and you have to wake them up. Murphys law seems to say you will pick it up 1 sec after it sleeps and the 5 clicks to wake is annoying. It reads a bit low and i have not used the TC side.

There is another option to full DIY and that is to get concentrates of premixed eliquid recipes. A lot of companies now sell it so you can taste their eliquid and if you like just buy the concentrate and add nic, pg, vg. Places in the UK like T-juice, decadent vapours and in the US pink spot, mt baker etc.

One of my eliquids is decadent vapours menthol eucalyptus and I buy the concentrate and add the rest of my ingredients. Even with shipping calculated it cost 11c per mil.

I never shake my flavoring bottles. Never heard it suggested as a thing to do. Maybe that's the reason for my numerous horrible recipe failures. I'm going to start shaking them from now on. Bit of a problem with new bottles that are full to the very top.

What you could do if you use a syringe and a needle to pull the flavoring from a full bottle.......fill the syringe to the top then push it back into the bottle. If the needle is pulling from the bottom of the flavor bottle then by pushing it back in it will create a sort of mixing type of action. And since you are putting back the same amt you pulled out this should solve any mixing problems with full bottles. It works for me or at least appears to. YMMV



eta I do this a few times to ensure its mixed to my satisfaction.

The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle says you can know where a packet is, or how fast it's travelling, but not both.

I believe Quantum Mechanics shows that a packet can be in more than one state at a time. Like it can simultaneously be stuck in Miami and already on it's way to Orlando. It only settles into one of those states when someone observes it, like by checking it on USPS tracking.

Or maybe it's just a USPS thing. I'm not a real physicist.

I bought the optional stainless steel Shrodinger's Tank for my original Nautilus because it looked cool and I figured I wouldn't break it. I ended up giving it away. Too much uncertainty for me.

Well, in this case, I think vaping on it counts as opening the ̶b̶o̶x̶ tank.

So far, (knock on wood) I've only had 1 DIY batch that was flush-worthy. I forgot to shake the TFA Key Lime flavoring bottle well, before taking out what I needed. I never knew all the horribly bitter part would rise to the top in that bottle, and that's what I'd get! It was REALLY nasty and made me want to do the Tom Hanks "wipe my tongue off with a napkin" routine, like he did in Big when trying caviar for the first time.

There are some really easy recipes on the Recipes for Dummies thread, if you ever want to try some that are pretty much sure "winners". Of course everyone's tastes are different, so very small test batches are best at first.

I make 10ml samples. I have only finished 2 bottle I have made. The rest haven't been tried yet or dumped. I made one that smelled exactly like what I am trying to replace. Tasted horrible

My local does 50/50 too. Most high vg doesn't agree with me!

I have given myself the double whammy in regards to shipping anxiety. I used two different companies that I have never used before for two different items that I have been eyeballing. I grabbed the Joyetech Elitar Pipe from Health Cabin for $20 and I grabbed the Aspire Quad Flex Survival Kit from Gearbest for $20. I don't need either one in a hurry. I don't really need either item at all. Just a couple of toys to play with. But...I am back to work this Monday after a nice long vacation. So I think I am going to have to get used to the idea that I'll be coming home to some toys after work at some point in the future. That's not such a terrible thing though.

I think getting a pre-mixed concentrate is a great way to start. Once one has the needed equipment, pg, vg and nic, it's easy to move into making your own. Of course, if there's a good premix to suit your tastes, you may not want to go further yet. I've gotten luck and lazy myself, but the vendor went under, leading to a gallon plus of premix flavor in my fridge!
