It's an efest, I don't know what model but pretty sure 26650 batteries listed on the charger

The luc 8 fits 26650. I charge them no issue. Aside form the dead bay in mine which is probably a fluke the efest luc is a great charger. Two bays support two amp charging too. Or four one amp. I'd recommend it even though my second bay died because I think that's unlikely to be a common issue. And it doesn't cost much.

Yeah I like them dicodes too, I saw them when I was looking at the lost vape therion.

I own a thermonuclear squonker if you have any questions. It's a well made mod but heavy. The dual battery traditional mod will be even heavier. But it's a tank.

Kayfun LP V2 is my favorite. I've bought and tried 8 or 9 of the MTL atomizers that were out on the market last year. Some are pretty good and others aren't exactly dedicated MTL devices. Most seem to be targeted toward being adjustable for dual use with MTL and DTL.

I've got some Lemos. You can actually cut the airflow down to zero if you turn the adjuster all the way. Although that's not as easy as it sounds, the adjuster ring is hidden inside the base and it's so loose that it opens up sometimes after just a few puffs. I spent quite a long time adjusting the air and making different coils, trying to make it run like a KFL, but it never really worked. In the end I gave up and opened up the airflow. I can take long cool DTL pulls on it at fairly low power. It's nice to have a choice sometimes.

I think tanks have a natural way to be. If you mess with that you aren't going to get the best out of them.

I have this istick mini I've been using as my outside gardening mod for a couple years. Recently it goes from full to no charge much faster which I expected. But the other thing that is happening is that there is a notisable lack of flavor in my juice even with a full charge. Same juice I always use in my provari too. I changed the coil to a fresh one and increased the voltage from 3.3 to 3.5. No change. Put the tank on my provari and the flavor is what it should be.

Seeing as this istick is the only mod I've ever had with internal batteries and the only one to get close to its end I was wondering if this lack of flavor is due to the batteries being weaker in which case I'll retire the mod. I can't think of any other reason.

It has probably reached the end of its useful life expectancy. My VV3's have a slow decline in puffs per charge then fall of a cliff battery wise.

Arg! The dreaded split order email from FT, sending my KF chimneys but not the bases. Thankfully a very kind tootle puffer is pif'ing a couple to me. This thread is really filled with the most generous and caring people.

I got one of those this morning, too. Rather that than another weeks wait for an item that WAS listed as in stock when I hit buy. FT has been doing that a lot, lately... I buy something IN STOCK, and by the time they put the order together, it's listed as restocking and I have to wait, or cancel...

I bet you are right Bea, would be the same deal if/when we buy cheap gear...
the battery just doesn't "have-it" any more and no longer puts out a strong crisp signal
not only will it not last as long, it is substandard while trying to perform the task at hand...
I do not have enuff knowledge to explain it, but a pic might help describe what I try to say ;)

Thanks guys. I thought it was my imagination at first until I put the tank on the provari. Puff those images sure tell the story cleary!

I guess it has earned a rest. It was my first mod after the Logics. It served me well.

They have done this to me several times. I have gotten to the point of just canceling the item because I don't want to wait on it. I have pointed this flaw out to ft, they did not seem to care.

I never understood why they sell items that aren't in stock. Very frustrating!

What's going on with FT lately? There are tons of complaining posts on ECF and lots of "discontinued" or "sold out" on many of their products.

It almost seems to me like they are going out of the vaping business but I can't imagine this happening...I would think they make too much money.

Not sure.....maybe under new management?? Whatever is happening, it's in several areas and none of the changes are good.
My last package from the july04 sale should be here Monday and I really am not sure if I want to contine to order from them.

So, who's found the ultimate replacement for the Kayfun Lite Plus V2? Those are getting hard to find these days. I have about 8 Kayfun 3.1s of various brands, but only two KFLPV2. I like the KFLPV2 best.

There's still some choices at FastTech, but they are dwindling. I've tried a number of MTL tanks, but most of them are designed as one size fits all with airflow that has to be turned off completely for an MTL vape.
In my opinion. There isnt one.down the doggy is good but the KFL+ V2 beats it for flavor hands down.

I agree KFl+ V2 is my preferred base
