What is this "enough" you speak of?

While it's obviously a personal choice for everyone, I'm in the camp that assumes electronics will go bad. I am estimating that any given non-mech mod will last at best 2 years. So since I believe you said you had 4 Picos also, you have at most 14 years before your last regulated mod dies in my estimation. That's my way of thinking and part of how I decide if I have enough.

I didn't give a mech 2 years life expectancy. I planned on scrapping a mod every 6 months. Things are so much cheaper that I don't care how many they bury me with, better that than to run out.

Well, my estimate for mods with electronics is based on a couple of assumptions
#1 Not constantly pushing them to their extreme limits
#2 My Evic VTC mini still works, almost 2 years after I bought it. And for the first year it saw daily use. Honestly it still would see daily use, but I'm too lazy to fix the magnet that keeps coming loose and consequently causes the battery cover to be difficult to put on properly.

Granted some will die much sooner. But I think 2 years of use is a reasonable average before the electronics fail. Either way, I have concerns, I have enough mods to last a lifetime. Of course my favorites will be the first to die, but such is life.

Only mod I own that is permanently retired is my Target. It started autofiring (shortly after having the contents of a nearly full Boreas dumped on it when I inadvertently left it sit in the hot sun in a hot car last year:blush:)

I was never a Kanger fan but I have to say the little subox nano kits were one of the best little devices. I never used the tank but they were perfect for my other 19mm tanks and spheroids and they just worked.
Regret passing them on to a newbie

I myself have never been a big fan of Kanger electronics

I REALLY like some of their tanks...

it's just something about the look of the Platinum KBOX mini
guess it is the solid stainless steel, 60w, springy 510, single 18650, size...

it will just be jewelry as I have a mighty arsenal of far better devices (eye candy)

    :D

They're nice - heavy as all :censored:, and will scratch up easily, but still nice. I hope you like it (wrap it up, maybe?).

    What !

wrap a raw beauty such as that, kinda defeat the whole exercise :D :D :D :D

It's a tough call. They're quite beautiful when new, but remember who you're talking to here. I wreck stuff - and usually quickly. Don't quote me but it's not 316 (or anything in that area), but still very nice. 304 maybe? You'll see...

Keep a polish cloth around, and maybe something to buff out the scratches, and you may well end up being thrilled with it.

I have a Kbox 75w and works perfectly in wattage mode as far as I can tell. Tc is horrible.

Also it has endured some really brutal falls
