Uh huh... love me some SRV...Jimmie Vaughn, older brother of Stevie Ray... From Oak Cliff TX![]()
It's a tough call. They're quite beautiful when new, but remember who you're talking to here. I wreck stuff - and usually quickly.
Don't quote me but it's not 316 (or anything in that area), but still very nice. 304 maybe? You'll see...
Keep a polish cloth around, and maybe something to buff out the scratches, and you may well end up being thrilled with it.
Put 'em in the will.![]()

Based on many posts I have read I have to agree with you about the two year longevity average…except for provaris. There are many vapers who have used them for over 4 years 24/7. I hope mine will follow suit. But just in case they don't I am well stocked for 20 years which for me is a lifetime.Well, my estimate for mods with electronics is based on a couple of assumptions
#1 Not constantly pushing them to their extreme limits
#2 My Evic VTC mini still works, almost 2 years after I bought it. And for the first year it saw daily use. Honestly it still would see daily use, but I'm too lazy to fix the magnet that keeps coming loose and consequently causes the battery cover to be difficult to put on properly.
Granted some will die much sooner. But I think 2 years of use is a reasonable average before the electronics fail. Either way, I have concerns, I have enough mods to last a lifetime. Of course my favorites will be the first to die, but such is life.
Only mod I own that is permanently retired is my Target. It started autofiring (shortly after having the contents of a nearly full Boreas dumped on it when I inadvertently left it sit in the hot sun in a hot car last year)
I love those EVODs, and they were instrumental for a few of my kids. When I found them for the kids, I thought, "If they had these things when I began vaping, I might still be using them."
They were regulated, correct? I'm pretty sure those are the ones I'm thinking of.
I loved the EVOD toppers as well.I had 2 Protank minis that cost ~20 dollars each and then found the Evods for ~8 dollars each.I ended up buying a bunch (8) of the Evods and 4 PTM's.For a while I used both as the coils were interchangeable and thems the coils I learned to recoil on.I used the Protank minis for when I wanted the fancy look and the Evods for day to day vaping (I think they held a bit more juice). Both of them tanks got a heck of alot of use ... all atop my original eVic.
I preferred the T3S. Held more![]()

Same base, same coil as an evod. All I use.
What are they (for the curious among us)?
7 pack for about $1.30 each:I still use EVODs for certain occasions, like travel. Got a bunch on a close out sale for 50 cents a piece!
@ChelsB , m'dear - Ms. Kitty spoke to me of a birthday cake, and a celebration!
Happy Birthday, Chelsea. I hope everything's well, and that you're having a marvelous day.
Now... any cake left?
