The symbol stands for the sound 'om.' Simply put it's a noise that you can make while meditating. There is quite a bit more to it than that but I don't want to derail the thread. You may have heard it if you have watched videos of monks meditating on YouTube for the calming effect. Although this symbol is usually related to Hinduism it doesn't necessarily have to be only for Hindus. I picked it because I'm familiar with the concept that it represents and it's a play on the word 'Ohm'.
Thanks. Actually I am familiar with the sound "om". When I was still working at the veterinary hospital, if we had a stressful day, the one vet with whom I'm friends and I would go outside at the end of the day, we'd both stretch our arms out with our fingers pinched together and say "om" several times as we lowered our arms to relieve the stress. She is not a smoker so that's all she could do while at work.

Me I had a smoke after we were done…it really helped more than om-ing. But I wish I had been vaping back then. Because I could have gone right back to work with clients. Instead, after a smoke we had to spray deodorant on ourselves and use mouth wash. What a pain!

I stumbled across the concept as I explored Buddhism on my own over the course of several years. I typically use the same sports related picture as my avatar as I tend to frequent sports related message boards most often, but I couldn't resist using this one.

I know where you are coming from, but MTL and Tootle Puffing aren't always synonymous. Modwomping and DL are also not synonymous. Now Cloud Chasing, well, I would think it would be hard to do that if you weren't DLing. But it is possible to DL at low power, and to MTL at higher power.

Admittedly the majority of Tootle Puffers MTL, but it does drive me nuts when someone states that you can't MTL above a relatively low wattage and with a super tight draw. The power one vapes at and the style one vapes at are two different things.

I couldn't care less about the wattage (however, I do go between 14 & 11 ;)) or the lack of vapour.
I know that the vapour is inhaled into my lungs via a temporary pause in my mouth.
I don't tootle puff, never have, never will...

That's the end of my rant.

Mechs and Regulateds up top and drawers of RTAs (4 of those are KFL stuff!), drip tips and spares down below.

My KFL inventory spreadsheet:
  • 6 full KFL (various versions, plus, plus v2, Russian 91%)
  • 13 bases
  • 25 chimeys (nano and full)
  • 14 Bell caps
  • 12 PC tank sections
  • 25 steam tuner (Kompact KF) caps
  • 20 Five Pawn tanks
  • 5 Replacement tanks
  • 6 Colored steam tuner cap
  • 6 Five pawns top caps
  • 10 Various top caps
  • Multi packages of spare parts
Very nice! But, I don't like my mods sitting out getting dusty.

This is how I store whatever I'm not currently using:
9reosDrawerFront.jpg

A drawer full of REOs!

It's not as pretty as having stuff out on display. But, they also are not getting dusty. Besides, I don't know anyone IRL that's into vaping. So, I get a little self-conscious about how big my stash is. Thus, it's semi-hidden away.
Looks a bit like that yes.
I have a confession to make : my buy stop did not last, In 11 days I have been smoke free for 4 years, so I
just had to buy a little something for myself.
and vaporday, at vaporart vas today -so I went a bit mad there.
Happy4years.jpg

I can give you all pictures of cardboard boxes on some shelves for my stash
I find that pleasing as long as the boxes are neatly organized and labeled.
He he
Okay I got another Spheroid v4
2 paps v3 stainless
1 paps v3 lux
and a few spares I needed
So I think I am on a Ramen noodles diet for a while :D
I know what you mean. You reach a point where you just can't put off getting what you want anymore. It's amazing how cheaply you can eat when you're determined.

But if you don't puff your tootle every once in a while who will?

You sound like me. Working in a veterinary hospital for almost 18 years it was an occupational hazard to have many pets. At one point we had 7 cats, 1 iguana and 3 snakes…all were abandoned/abused. And chickens outside.

One of those cats stunk of cig smoke when we took him in. Even to me, a smoker at the time, it was unpleasant.

yeah I know what you mean... I live way out in the woods and because of that fact, stray starving cats always find their way to my house ..... Idiotic and emotionless people take them out in the country, by where I live and abandon them....... Really irks me for sure.

Oh, man! Don't get me started on the dumping! Before we mived to FL we lived in the middle of 48 acres 45 min. away from the nearest town. Same damn thing happened there. City people seem to think these pampered pets can learn to fend for themselves or else all of us living out there will take them in.

The truth was that we didn't adopt a single dumped stray…we would get quick glimses of them for a day or two from a distance and then the coyotes and foxes cought themselves a big meal.

Yep .... If people do not possess the responsibility enough to take care of their pets and the offspring of the pets then they should not own pets..period.... If people would PROPERLY take care of their pets, by taking them to the vet, then their cats would not get pregnant in the first place and they would not have to take a litter of kittens out to the country to be dumped off....

The simple truth of the matter is that where I live, deep in the woods and far away from any town, a kitten (or adult) cannot easily survive as they are prey for many of the larger animals here in the woods.... Not only that but in the wild, cats often get diseased and sick from scavenging for food and eating small animals......... So, if the larger animals don't kill them then disease probably will.... In other words, they don't stand a very good chance at survival out here unless some sap (such as myself) takes them in and gets them veterinarian help and then takes care of them... Every single cat that comes to me that has been dumped, I take to the vet and they get treated before they live with me......... If the idiotic people who dumped them off in the first place would do the same (take them to a vet) then there would be no need to dump kittens...

lots of people lack empathy for sure and it really p*sses me off.

I have a long history with the substance that shall not be named, that is generally DTL'd. DTL came naturally to me for vaping, despite the years of MTL with cigarettes. So even though I use coils of 1.0 ohm or higher and run 10-15w my puffs just feel more natural DTL. I consider myself a restricted lung vaper. I hit DTL I just don't need the volume associated with cloud chasing.

Vaping mantra: Amperage, Voltage, Wattage, Ohmmmmmmmmms.
I knew the symbol. Massage therapy is often associated with all sorts of "new age" type stuff so it's definitely come up in my professional life.

Woot! Love that I can vape between my clients with no stinky smell.

We have a large feral population in my apartment complex, my kitty started out in that population before becoming separated from mom and crying on my doorstep. I fed a lot of them for a long time but had to stop because 20 feral cats waiting outside on my patio every night started stressing me out. I love them all but I had to step back and let them fend for themselves. My rescue was the first one in my complex that crossed my path where the mom cat seemed to have dropped the ball, and the time was right for a cat in my life so I brought her in.

I don't actually get into any New Age stuff at all. I enjoy Buddhism as a philosophy and I really don't have any religious or spiritual beliefs.

yep ... I know what you mean as I actually lived in a town in the past (believe it or not) lol ... The problem I observed (with cats) inside of towns is slightly different from what I experience out here in the sticks... Inside of most any town (small or large) you will always find alley cats and large populations of cats that are fending for themselves........ Lots of these poor cats were not dropped of by anyone but rather they were born in the wild (alley) ......... That's understandable and no fault of anyone's......... But what irks me about out here in the country is that people INTENTIONALLY dump the cats off when the cats don't have a chance in Hades of making it in these woods.... I have caught many people out here literally throwing them out of their cars...

Like yourself, I can't save every cat on the planet and it would be ridiculous to even try... But, I am going to save as many as I possibly can and that is exactly what I have done......... Yes, I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars taking strays to vet's but at least the moral portion of my conscious will be clear.
