EDIT to ADD: I posted this before I finished reading the rest of the thread. Glad you got it fixed, PokeMom! Once you've disassembled a KV4 and actually got it to vape again you have passed the test for atomizer proficiency!
The V4 contact pin screws into a little square nut inside the deck assembly. Once you take it out it's almost impossible to get the threads started again without removing and disassembling the coil deck.
The deck unscrews with the
tank inverted and the
juice won't run out the drip tip like it does with a KF V2 or V3. That's one of the features I like about the K4. The coil deck can be disassembled once it's out of the tank assembly. Just examine it really close to make sure you know how it goes back together.
That contact screw is #1 and the square nut is #11 on this diagram. Yes, there are LOTS of parts to keep straight in the KV4.
