Tootle Puffers, Part Three! (The Sequel of the Redux)

Gasoline has been in short supply here, and it's been hard to find stations who still have any...since Tuesday afternoon. People filling up their vehicles AND gas cans so they can run their generators when we lose power. I was at a local Waa-Waa just yesterday, and got lucky because they still had gas and the lines were only 3 cars deep at each pump. Another tanker pulled in while I was there, too. So some stations are getting more now, but within hours of getting it...they're out again, especially with the number of evacuating people coming north from south FL needing it, too.

Walmarts and most other stores have been sold out of bottled water, bread, canned meats, etc. since Tuesday night. Not a gas can to be found in any stores since Wednesday morning either. It's not going to be real pleasant down here until Irma has come and gone. Then, depending on what damage she does...it won't be back to normal for a good long while.

I really need a new scale and a good way to organize things, but I have fun pulling it all out a few times a month. I have a few recipes that I make in big quantities and some I just try out and don't make the regular rotation. Cigarettes were never this much fun.

Fortunately in Mexico City everything is Ok, very little damage . In the State of Oaxaca it seems that 23 people died. This was a pretty strong earthquake but oscillatory. In 1985, when I was a kid 20 thousand people died in Mexico City so every time this moves we get pretty scared

Glad you are OK also. Never been near an earthquake. Did light a cigarette off a live volcano once (Costa Rica, in HS). There was a sign about danger going past a very old and battered sign. We were in HS, we were idiots, we went past it, and that was a pretty active volcano back then, it exploded a few days later.

Gotta love developing countries though, (at least it was more so back then). If we had that in the US there would probably be a large, high, barbed wire fence or something. At least....

Actually I just didn't like it.

I didn't think much of my STM either.Even with the afc turned way down it was still too airy,it worked but...meh...I like my KFLs much better.
Today I'm gonna be trying out my Egg Roll with the CL coil and see how that goes.
