I will say it looks like a hassle free way for a newbie to get their feet wet. I don't have any interest in it though.
I have to say I love my two T22's, and have no plans of switching. They are durable, trouble free, coils last forever. And you can clean them and reuse them once. But I think if they would have fixed the watts somewhere around 10 it might have been better.

I didn't think much of my STM either.Even with the afc turned way down it was still too airy,it worked but...meh...I like my KFLs much better.

I forgot who mentioned it and how long ago or what thread it was in....so I'm sorry to whom originally posted this idea.
Put a old protank positive insulator into the rba airflow under the coil, that restricts the airflow some but I do think that the insulator could burn some and/or produce a rubber taste if you use the older white insulator but shouldn't burn if your using one of the squishy opaque silicone insulators . Putting a PT insulator into the top of subtank then put on the driptip also works to restrict the airflow, this way it doesn't matter which insulator you use cause its not close to any heat. I can't remember if you need to trim the top lip of the insulator but I don't think so....too many beer ago to remember exactly.

I should add I feel very fortunate in my journey. I made one mistake with the first purchase. The I Care 160. Gave them away. Breeze was next, and although it wasn't the go to system, it serves well as part time or backup. Third was T18 for wife and T22 for me. I bought enough coils to last a year from FT for $29. I bought enough juice from Ohms Labor Day sale to last us almost 4 months for $52. I'm content.

That was me...and yup I had to xacto off the top of the PT silicone insulator to fit it into the air pipe below the coil and it did work reasonably well.It was after all that when I got my first KFL.With the KFL it was a no fuss no muss WOW does this work well.

I still have my STM's but they're sleeping quietly in the bottom of a drawer. If and when my sister ever gets wants to try rebuilding they'll go to her.

:offtopic: Just a little laugh for you.... So yesterday I was boiling potatoes for supper, so while that was doing its thing I decided to pick up the living room. Well my 13 yr old comes wondering in and says Mom you need to check the stove because the pot is vaping like crazy!:w00t:

Did the same, Sorry, although the STM for me was after I'd already "standardized" on KFls. Can't see why I'd buy something I needed to "customize" to get the vape I want, when the KFL does it out of the box... While the RBA head is as easy to rebuild (some say easier due to how the shoulders trap the lead), getting air flow low enough for my style was always an issue. The insulator helps, but, again, why bother?

@Rickb119 i was really disappointed in myself when a lot of tootle puffers kept raving on the STM. They loved it and were stocking up on them, so I jumped on that train and bought a few..... hated them! So I kept thinking something is wrong with me, until I bought 1 nectar and I fell in love.

Everyone is different in their vaping preferences

I run 1.8-2.0 ohm coils with the PT insulator and have no problems and don't expect any as the coil is further away than in the PT coil.

Mine were bought cheap and as insurance against needing slightly more airflow in the future. The RBA is handy as well. I can stick a 1.8ohm MT32 single coil in it and vape away any time I want.

I'm so happy. I finally picked up a flavor that I liked in 24mg for my nautilus 2. It's called Twisted Berries, a blend of berries from NicDrops. Also the other day I went to meet up with a friend and I know we always subohmed together making these big clouds and all. So I decided to leave my tootle setup at home an take my "higher power" :) device with me together with my RDA. Now while I was vaping that way a thought came to me that how could I have left my nautilus at home, I really am missing it now. Surprising to me. That meant that the last 3-4 months that I have been tootle puffing actually turned me into a real one. But the bottom line is that I need to do what works for me and I'm doing that. I'm very grateful things turned out this way. I use so much less juice too. Have a Great night fellows.
