If two pounds of beads equals 6.5 cups, you need five pounds of beads for one weighted blanket, and that five pounds must be divided into 48 equal-size pockets, how are you going to measure the beads for those 48 pockets? Aw-- hell- lets go with milliliters.

.27th of a cup per pocket. So about an 8th of a cup per pocket? Or is it a 1/4 cup each?

I had kinda given up on temp control a while ago - played with it when the DNA40 came out, but hated nickel. Played with titanium, and didn't like it. Tried dual ss316l coils, and it was meh.

Got the wifey set up with a Serpent Mini on the Pico, and tried a single 26ga ss316l coil @ 0.5 ohms, and it's working perfectly.

Still trying to find a juice that she likes, though. Gonna have to mix up a few different batches this weekend for her to try.

BOOM!

I find it easier to count to 10, divide by 10, instead of 12.

It's always a hard decision when you run out of fingers ..........which toes do you include. 2 on one foot, 1 from each, the big toes or 1 big one normal.

Aaaaaaaaaaaarg the pressure

Darn, is it tuesday already?!

Regarding built-in chargers in mods....

I have several18650 mods (well, ok many ) with that feature. Some claim to be "pass thru" vape capable, some don't. I'd rather not be charging and using one thinking it does when it doesn't...

Charging will produce some heat, although of course nothing should get hot. But heat is a primary factor in electronics failure. I'd rather keep that heat out of the mod, away from the electronics.

And, for me, it's just too darned easy to pop fully charged cells into my mods before going out, so I don't have to worry about it at all.

But I don't think onboard chargers cause shortened life of built in cells. Lions and Lipos are only good for a certain number of charge cycles, whether onboard or off. If you only have one or two, they're going to be cycled frequently, and reach end of life sooner.

I've run current checks during charging with my USB devices and it's unusual to see more than about 800ma being drawn from my 4 port 2.4A USB charger.

The USB digital amp meter I use is the one below. It's on sale for $11.99. Setup is simple. You just plug it into your USB charging device and then plug the device to be charged into the power monitor. It reads voltage and current.

Yeah, I get most of those. Just wondering how good the deals usually are. I had a cart full of stuff waiting on the Memorial Day sale at sweet-vapes, and they never had a sale...lol. Luckily, I took a good bit of stuff out of there and got it at Hoosier for 15 percent off. Nic is my priority, but I might add a couple mods and some flavoring or vg/pg if the deals are good.

I get my nic at MFS. I don't know if they will be having a sale but I'll try to remember to let you know. Sometimes I have bought a Litre bottle of 100 mg from them for as low as $30 bucks. Right now it's $50 which I think is still a decent price anyway.

Thanks. I created a just-in-case account there a while back but haven't bought anything. I hear their name come up a lot in discussions about nic, so it must be pretty good. The nic I have now came from Nude Nic, and it's great. Expensive, though. I'm looking to get at least a gallon and feel like I should get more. I think there's a good chance I won't be able to order it via internet after Aug. 8 because I live in a state where tobacco-product purchases must be face to face.

Yea I've never had a problem with their nic. I'm going to pick up some more before the SITF. I have enough for a few years so what's a few more!!

Most of you folks have been around here a lot longer than me. Can some of you tell me what to expect in terms of Fourth of July sales? What should I expect to pay for a gallon of decent 100mg nic? Good deals on mods?

Ecigexpress is also good for nic, about the same price range as MFS both "regular" and on sales.

That's pretty cool and much more convenient than what I have.

Yep, the one I posted is a one trick pony, but it does a specific job with easy setup. That, and it's cheap at around $12.

I've looked around at solid state oscilloscopes and will probably buy one of these days. I had point of need access to a Tectronix O-scope in my job, but only needed it here and there when replacing heads on multi-platter CDC disk drives.

I was checking prices yesterday. $34 for 1L 100mg nic, but it's not eligible for free shipping. About $20 for shipping, but still decent

Mass Casualties After 'Terrorism' at Orlando Gay Club

Should have know this might happen given the current temperament and the racist, sexist, bigoted/prejudicial commentary being thrown around so freely in the recent few months . . .

AND - All this during GAY PRIDE MONTH ! ! !
