Okay, I know I don’t need any more mods, but I’m dying to try one with a touch screen (those exist, right?). I can’t think of anything else I want for Xmas!
Any suggestions?

Once you are at the point where the mods will outlast you. Get yourself something nice.

Uh, but that's not an STM, it's a KF style base...

Again, unsure about wicking!

Oops! Another dumb post by yours truly (it’s what came up in my search and I didn’t look/read close enough)! In my defense, I think the number of my “face palm “ posts are declining [emoji38]

It’s funny how pretty much the whole first half of this year I was buying vape gear like crazy and could’ve rattled off a whole list of things I wanted. Now when it’s actually time for someone else to buy me something, I’m at a loss! I’m actually thinning my supply as to not have a bunch of stuff (mostly tanks, I’m happy with just about all my mods and all but a very few get used regularly) I don’t use taking up room .
TLDR: I’m surprised to be at a loss for vape gift ideas and I really don’t need anything else

I kinda blew this year's vape budget by March of this year. I do have a 30 year vape stash with triple redundancy.

My next present to myself will be a Dicodes Dani Box Assuming I can still buy one next year with the impending doom.

But is that kind of the set up? I mean, are you talking about having the screws across from each other horizontally but still putting a vertical coil in the thing?

That took you long enough! I took care of that in one swift move: three stab wood squonk mods!

I was trying not to spend to much so I didn't start until the end of January.

Do any of these fancy squonk mod come with an ego connector. If they do I may be interested.

Yes (sounds weird, doesn’t it?), I think so. I’m just about to build it. Wish me luck!

I certainly will. I hope you post up a pic or two. I am still mastering my coils and I'll stick to what works but this sounds interesting.

Okay, here’s a pic of an actual STM RBA and below is my feeble attempt. I love a building challenge, so I WILL master this!

So I have a spool of nichrome wire and a spool of nickel wire. I’ve been hesitant to use them because it’s my understanding that they’re not as easy as kanthal or 316 L. However, I’m curious as to how they vape. I’m wondering if any of you have had a bad experience using those types of wires?

Nichrome is kinda like Kanthal with lower resistance, Nichel wire is VERY LOW resistance. DO NOT dry burn NICHEL wires, use ONLY in TC mode!

What’s the highest ohm coil there is? Do they go past say 3.0 ohms?

The PT3 coil 2 ohm coil is dual 4 ohm coils.

I would guess you would reach a practical limit before you reached the theoretical limit.

The lowest I could vape when I tried it was 3.4 watts on a 2.8ohm coil. Less watts than that wasn't satisfying.
