Hello tootle puffers and I see a happy birthday is in order. Happy birthday burning and sorry if it's late! My Internet has been playing up so hardly got chance to come on here.
So... I tried sub ohm for a bit and got back on the stinkies. Now I'm back to my trusty nautilus and cig free again :)

No worries. How you been??
Doing good, just working a lot right now. Just Work, Sleep, Work, Sleep, Work, Sleep, over and over and over. My checking account is liking it a lot, but these OLD bones are getting a little tired. It will slow down the end of April once the snow birds are all heading back north, then I'll get a little down time in May. :D

The other great lie from my childhood was: In a few years there'll be TV like it is now--free. And then this great new invention where you'll pay a small fee for no commercials. It will be called "Cable Television."

I can remember when I came home from first grade (1951) and, having heard it mentioned in school, asked my Dad what a "TV" was...

He told me..."It's like a radio...that sends out a PICTURE. BUT...it's SO EXPENSIVE...you'll NEVER have one!!!"

So... I tried sub ohm for a bit and got back on the stinkies. Now I'm back to my trusty nautilus and cig free again :)

I continue to be surprised/perplexed by the rapid rise of sub-ohm vaping...

I, still, (mentally) divide vapers into 2 categories:

1. "Analog Convert Vapers"...MTL, higher Ohms, lower Watts...

2. "Hobby Vapers"...DL, lower Ohms, higher Watts...

..

No idea why i keep reading this but Sub ohm does not mean massive clouds and direct lung hits. I only vape MTL and for months have been vaping a 0.59 ohm coil SS 316L 28 GA coil at 410F in TC If i vaped this in power mode then 11 watts. If you vape a say 1.5 ohm coil with 28 GA kanthal then try the exact same build with 28 GA SS316L. the ohms will be around 0.8 and the vape at the same power will be very similar.

I'm same when I build. I do a 2.5mm coil that comes out at 0.5 ohms.
MTL isn't ohms it's chamber size and airflow

You are right no doubt. And there is no right or wrong way. Just because you subohm does not mean that you are only a hobby type nor if you tootle your get a specific label either. And the person that never smoked but does vape they are just as important in the community as we are. And thank the good lord they never lit one of those horrible things up and started with a safer alternative.

I am a smoker transitioning to vaping. Have been vaping since 2006 but still have one or two smokes per day. Have not gotten past that morning smoke with my coffee and maybe never will. I subohm and tootle and vaping is a big hobby in my life.

Were all just vapers, individuals, searching for a healthier lifestyle.

No need for all the labels nor segregation.

I'm getting mine at imrbatteries.com that @Shawn Hoefer suggested. They have a nice selection and cheaper than the other two places.

I did order from IMR, but I bought the MXJOs. I'll let you know what I think.

It's hard to quit. I keep doing a few days without one then getting stressed and buying a pack bit yeah your right really. Although I still think that some people do it as a hobby

I don't know, I went for ages having 2 smokes a day, but only while I was at work. The rest of the time, vaping was enough but those 2 smokes a day allowed me to step away from what was quite intensive work (writing software), and gave me "think" time. My GP said it was okay too, and she classified me as a non-smoker. Then 1 day, I just said "enough" and haven't touched them since.

18mg keeps me off cigarettes most the time. I only smoke if I'm stressed
I had that problem when I first quit, stress was the hardest time. I kept one loaded with 36mg/ml 10% WTA that I Only used for the stressful times, then 18mg/ml for the rest of the time. After a while (a year or so), my normal vape worked just fine, and I even started cutting down the nicotine in steps. I might have hit it a little more during the stressful times, but I did away with needing the higher nicotine liquid.

But bottom line, even if you smoke a couple, think of all the ones you are NOT smoking, that makes you a winner in my book. :D
