You’ve used their nic? That’s a good deal if it compares well to others.

Yes I have. I am in fact vaping on it now. It is clean, no foul smells and crystal clear. Good quality stuff.

Maybe this?

Joyetech eGo ONE Mega V2 Tank

Various coils available, and if desired, the CLR head rebuilds like a slightly larger Kanger single coil.

I've loved my eGo ONE Mega V2 Tanks for 1-2 years...(and initially bought so many CLR coils that I have, yet, needed to rebuild one)...

But...but...being an energy conservationist (ie. lazy)...I'm slowly replacing them with Zenith MTL Vape Tanks...

The Zeniths have the same GREAT taste and vapor production as the eGo ONEs...but refilling:

Twist top band => FILL => re-twist top band => VAPE...

VS.

Remove from Mod => unscrew bottom =>check tightness of coil => FILL => screw back on bottom => readjust AFC => reattach to Mod => push FB to make sure you didn't disturb the coil's ohms => VAPE...

Innokin Zenith MTL Vape Tank

Do any of you mix for other people? I make juice for my sister in law. She vapes at 10 watts in a 1.8 ohm. Goes through 30 mls of 6 mg/ ml a week.

She just texted me asking if I’d make her juice lower nic. She was lower but went through more juice, of course, and didn’t want to do that either. Ultimately she’d like to be at zero, but we both know she’s not ready.

I’m trying to convince her A) she doesn’t use all that much B) it’s less nic or Less juice, but she’s not going to be able to do both and C) if there’s half the nic and she used twice the juice it's the same amount of nic, but she’ll inhale more of the other ingredients.

Seriously, we’ve had this conversation nine times lol.

I’m thinking if I could add something to give a little more th she could go a little lower and not really miss the nic, but I don’t know what to add.

I didn't know they could be re-wicked, Gerry. That's potentially valuable info - thank you!

No, I'm not trading MINE in (the CLRs are perfect for me), but I expect some people may wish to explore other options.

Can they be rebuilt too?

Just for a couple friends, but only for birthdays and such.

I agree totally with your tri-partite argument, especially "...inhale more of the other ingredients."!

What PG/VG ratio do you mix for her? Maybe just increasing the PG could maintain at least some of the TH that the nic reduction takes away.

And what kinds of flavors does she like? May need to make some changes there?

I make her 50/50 hazelnut. That’s her only flavor. I’m sure I could go a little more pg without it causing trouble though.

Honestly I make all her juice, and I don’t mind. She reimburses me for supplies.
She gets completely freaked trying to buy from shops. If they’re out, she’ll melt down lol. I just want to help her stay off the smokes.

That's what I do with my sister. She hates to buy pre-made juice. With me, she can continually tweak recipes and vape whatever she wants.

Try dropping the nic slowly. Make up a batch at 5.5mg and go from there.

That’s why I started mixing for myself, flexibility. For her, it was supply interruption.

We only have a couple vape shops, and their juice is not all that great. When you do get lucky and find one you like, it’s not as if you can count on them to always have it. She’d get down to half a bottle and end up driving all over searching for more.

Now she can just call and say she’s down to two bottles, and I’ll have 240 mls ready when she gets here.

The latest from @Mooch . Thanks Mooch. :)

"Hey SMOK, stop playing battery ratings games!

SMOK has released the V-Fin 160W internal battery mod claiming it has an 8000mAh rating. Mike Vapes reviewed it (link below) and was kind enough to send me one for testing and SMOK’s claim is preposterous.

The two cell battery pack inside clearly shows that it uses 12.21Wh cells. Using the marked 3.7V nominal voltage that means each is only 3300mAh. (12.21Wh / 3.7V = 3.3Ah).

Photos: https://imgur.com/a/21BYc

My testing confirmed this as the pack delivered 3296mAh at 0.5A down to 3.0V per cell (6.0V for the pack). Two 3300mAh cells in series means it is a 3300mAh 8.4V (7.4V nominal) pack.

Even if we use the concept of “equivalent mAh” this means it only has, roughly, the same running time as a single 6600mAh cell.

Not only did SMOK play an “equivalent mAh” ratings game by not telling us they were doing it but they falsely raised the ratings of their 3300mAh cells to 4000mAh.

SMOK, we have enough problems with exaggerated ratings for the external batteries we use. Why did you exaggerate the capacity rating for these internal cells?

You had a chance to use their true rating and tell us about “equivalent mAh” to help educate the community. You could have easily told us about how a regulated mod using two smaller cells can run just as long as one with a larger single cell. This would have given you a huge “6600mAh” number to use in your marketing.

But instead you just decided to exaggerate the rating. Why?"

From what I read there it sounds like they are selling 1000mg/ml nicotine or at least they are calling it "Pure Nicotine". Isn't that something that you have to have a license to buy? I don't think I'd be interested something that would require a hazmat suit to use safely.

The prices are good, though.
I’m alarmed that they only give the same generic warnings that they show for the lower mg/mls.

They sell what you mention above...and what they call "E-Liquid Nicotine", which is 100mg/mL - 500mg/mL, in 11 different PG/VG ratios. You can see them once you select what size you want from the page below and go to its page.

Nicotine E-Liquid Base, Density of Nicotine, USA Liquid Nicotine - Made in USA

IMO, people just starting DIY should be referred to other nic base sites though, where the highest mg/mL they can even order is 100mg/mL. The chance of newbies making a mistake...and ordering a much higher mg/mL nic base, (that's too high to safely deal with without using extra safety precautions), exists there, IMO.

I mainly started mixing my own early on because my brother did. He's the one that got me started vaping. He mixed his own because of his refusal to pay ridiculous prices.

After trying many juices, I continued mixing my own out of frustration with the quality of pre-made juices. Most juices were irritating to me. I could barely make myself vape.

At first, I thought my sister probably just wanted to save money. And, maybe she did. But, she's obviously enjoying trying different variations. And she does pay me enough for supplies.
