We have a smoking room at Days Inn,and was surprised to find motels that still have them. Of course the room will stink, but I'd rather deal with that than deal with not being able to vape while in the room.

Well that is better then being hit with the $250.00 + cleaning bill for "vaping" (still viewed as smoking) in your room that some places will charge Ya' when housecleaning smells anything close to being tobacco odor . . . AND - You won't even know that they have until you get back since it will be an "after" charge on your credit card . . .

Just sayin' . . .

I too have vaped in non-smoking rooms without issue. But I can tolerate a smoking room so if I was worried about it I could live with it.

18 mods. I'm pretty sure I don't have that many even if I count old eGo batteries and such that I bought back in the day. Quite a collection. And you still use all of them? I guess you do if you're having trouble deciding which ones to bring...

Enjoy your trip! You're driving from CA I assume? How long of a drive is that?

It's a two day trip for us, as we stop in Flagstaff for the night, and a lot of little stops in between. About 850 miles one way.

I vape cereal and fruit flavors...my hotel/motel rooms...(and my home)...NEVER smell of anything close to tobacco odor...

"Sir...we're going to charge you $250...because housekeeping says your room smells like Fruity COPYRIGHTDMCA!"

(I haven't stayed in a "Smoking" hotel/motel room since I switched from analogs to vaping 4+ years ago.) (And I leave my set-ups and ejuice on the bedside stands.)

I vape unflavored so much that it's practically my ADV. I vape in hotel rooms and never get a second look. I turn on the bathroom fan and let it run just to be sure, but when we go out and come back there's nothing noticeable. My wife can sniff out odors I never knew existed. My sense of smell varies with the seasons and whatever's blooming outside right now.

I have much more control with unflavored 3mg in cartotanks, and flavored 0nic in Kayfuns.

I vape a very mild menthol and hubs whose sense of smell is exceptional says there is no odor at all. Definitely no tobacco smell. So I've never had any problems vaping in hotels…or when I spent a week at the hospital last year…or at the doctor's exam room waiting for her…or…:)

That's the ultimate pleasure of vaping for me as well - being able to have an unnoticeable vape most anywhere I want.
Even my daughter visiting with her six month old girl is fine with our vapes, and she's a fiercely protective mom.

We are using about 2/3 PG so it's antimicrobial properties might make our home the healthiest atmosphere around!

Having been admitted a couple times over the last couple years to my local "We Confiscate All E-Cigarettes" hospital...my Flings came in quite handy...

They produce a quite satisfying vape (they're barely larger than a cigarette)...and were easily concealed in my gown pocket (even holding a Holter Monitor)...and in the tops of those large padded socks they give you to walk around in...

Had NO close calls...but if they did "confiscate" one...I'd only be out about $5...

I used my icares ehich are small enough to totally hide in my hand and when they took me down for an MRI I too slipped it in those hospital socks. Hubs brought me two fully charged ones every morning :)

Was it still in your socks when you got the MRI? I wouldn't want an ecig anywhere close to one of those things. Or anything else with metal in it.

Yep. Any magnetic material is a potential projectile near the machine. Wouldn't want to have to pay for repairs to their 5 million dollar baby...

Yeah...or have it projectile it's way through you or somebody close to the machine.

Fun little side note, my senior design project in electrical engineering was to build a simple MRI, on a $500 budget. We failed miserably.

Of course. I didn't dwell on the obvious danger to life and limb. I was just thinking of a secondary, but compelling, reason not to do it! Likely injuries would be to the patient, as the operators GTHO during the procedure.

No I took it out and sat it on the wheel chair in which they wheeled me down there. I thought "busted". But the tech asked me what that was and I said "oh, it's an inhaler". He accepted my explanation…phew!!!

I wasn't really telling a lie…it is an inhaler ;) See? Doesn't look anything like a vaping device. Perfect for stealth.

Haha. Well I think if you go by strict definition a vaping device is an inhaler. It emits a substance that is inhaled.

That's actually a pretty slick looking device. To the untrained eye it probably wouldn't be recognized as a vape. I bet it works pretty well for stealth.

I don't really have anything good for stealth vaping. If I was going to vape at work stealth would be an absolute necessity because any tobacco use on State property is forbidden. I haven't been willing to test them on it with vaping (though I've snuck a snus every now and then but even with that I don't do it regularly). It's a dumb rule but probably not worth losing my job over. Luckily nicotine gum isn't considered a tobacco product.

Fling Original...115mm length, 10mm diameter..."stealth enough" (for me) when I'm in a "We Confiscate All E-Cigarettes" hospital...

When I removed it from my gown pocket to get a Chest X-Ray...I told the Tech..."Oh...it's just my stylus for my iPhone"...

Never had an MRI, just CT scans, but don't they scan you first with a metal detector before putting you in the tube?
I have had a couple. Never wanded, but they ask you extensive questions about any metal you may have in your body, and make you change out of street clothes, into a gown.Think zippers, rivets, etc. My CTs were easy. Come in, lie down. Sleep while it runs. Get up. Go home.

I love it for stealth vaping although the flavor and TH arent anywhere near the quality of my provaris or my Jac. I always tuck one in my purse when we're out for more thsn a couple of hours.

Today hubs had a recheck appt. with his eye doctor. Only one other person in the waiting room was empty. Had to wait and wait. This girl decided she needed to vape. Took a puff…a smallish one…sucked in most of it…tucked my mouth inside my T-shirt and blew out the rest…aaaahhhh :)

Love it :):):)
