Mixed up some home brew Mad Murdock's 710, blew the dust off my Amacado, twisted ribbon at .75 ohms, and fired it up. I'm impatient, who has time for steeping?
I've really got to learn to leave the Absinthe out of this stuff! Just a little overpowered everything else!

I know that this has been covered before, but please tell me the benefits of rayon over cotton. Is the flavor better? Does it last longer? Is it easier to use? I seem to remember that you need to go through an entire tank to get a funky flavor out, is that true?

Kat covered most of the mechanical differences and I agree each wick type has its pluses and minuses.

The reason I went with rayon is for some reason cotton tastes like wet socks to me. So I stuck with silica and limited in the atomizers and tanks I could use. Once I discovered that rayon has zero taste (for me) it opened up the wide array of rebuildable tanks and atomizers I could now use.

I don't get the funky taste but I have heard people talk about it. I always thought is was about the handling of the wick but anyway one of the tricks I learned was to blow out the first handful of vapes rather than inhaling. It's now a habit and more to see if everything is wicking properly. You can smell any hot spots in the blown out vapour so to me it makes sense to check.

+1 for reverse vaping ;)

I have just re-wicked the Origen 16 clone sitting atop a Kanger Dripbox, a 10s reverse vape and no funky taste ... after the very first puff anyway :D

You can wire them TP to modwomp. I run anywhere from 0.5 - 1.5, depending on how I build. Single coil. Easy deck (IMO), but you might want to wrap left-handed to get the legs to hit right. Madame Kat just got hers, and seems pleased.

Broken record - I reach for these tanks before about anything else now. They are smallish - 2-3ml, but you can dial down airflow if desired. I keep my AFC wide open, but use a more narrow-bore DT to channel flavor. Fasttech has them - less than $20USD. I got mine from VaporBeast, but if you don't mind waiting, FT is probably your best bet.

I am rocking a Velocity Mini on my Dripbox as well - rebuilt that lil debbil, and have been alternating all evening :)
Thanks @DingerCPA, I shall have to throw one in the next cart. Reverse winding of a coil is no problem as I have done that many a time on KS RTA & SQuape to change coil heights.

Yup will suit you just fine. Can be airy or not and plenty of room for a clapton or whatever you want.

Thanks @rhelton, she's a fine looking RTA. The only issue I might have is the capacity, but you say it's an easy fill.

Love those DT's I need to order another 5 pack, just like Franks hot sauce, I put that s**t on everything! :D

The Goblin Mini V3 with extension is calling my name as well.

Decisions, Decisions...
