I realize you're talking about just changing the settings on your "LUC 4 charger"...but I have a "general" question re: charging at 500mA rather than at 1A.

I charge my mods with a USB Charger (I mean we're only talkin' $12 for 5 Ports).

It has "Smart IC" ("automatically selects the most efficient charging current to recharge the batteries").

Early on...most of my Mods (eg. istick-30W, VV V3, etc.) had a "thin" USB cord and were capable of charging at 500mA.

My recent Mods (iStick-TC40W and Wismec Presa-40) have a "thick" USB cord and are capable of charging at 1A.

So...question...if I take one of my "thin" (500mA) USB cords...and connect it between the USB Charger and one of my 1A capable Mods...will it charge at 500mA or 1A ???

Amazon.com: PowerBot® PB5000 40W 8-Amp 5-Port Rapid Charger USB Wall/Desktop/Travel Smart Charging Station w/ Ultra High-Performance Intelligent Smart IC Technology for iPhone, iPad, Android, Samsung, Nokia, HTC, LG, Nexus, Motorola, Tablets, Camera, Smartphones, PowerBanks, Portable Chargers and More: Cell Phones & Accessories

..

I ma not sure if anyone replied to this. I am no expert, but I do know that the usb port has a limited output. I am not sure what that is though. I know when I charge my Kindle using my computer's usb it warns that it will take longer because it is on a low power charger. I hope this shines a small candle flame in the dark.

Happy Fools' Day (coming from the biggest one here!)

Last jab on the shoe topic - Kat, your 4"ers are frequently known as CFM heels in these parts. I personally would call them ankle-breakers

BUT, for a return to topic......

My BUTTON-TOP AWs are scheduled to arrive today for my P-thingies (along with some stylish Cherry Vape drip tips) a la ElectronicStix. And, in a blister-pack popping moment of weakness, I ordered some 1.8 Clapton Triton Mini coils to try in my Naughty Nauties ;) (I lurve my Nautis on my P-thingies!) I have seen mixed reviews, and I'm most certainly wondering how you can make a CLAPTON coil land at 1.8Ω, but I've waited almost TWO MONTHS for the slowboat to arrive...... WORST FT shipment time evah - BUT, order was initially placed right at CNY, so I had to wait for that. Then, product was not immediately in stock.... blah blah blah.

Happy Tootlin' to y'all :)

well then, that's great !

if not for a few things, namely air flow & increased power - I'd still be rockin' with that set-up

it worked so very good for me for a long time /// it's what set me in stone to NEVER SMOKE cigarettes again

IMO-a simple, cheap, effective way to vape...

Airflow is not an issue with mine. I gots drill bits.:D

WOW WOW WOW!!!! This truly brings back memories. I bought all this nonsense {not nonsense for you- speaking for myself} 2 years ago. The thrill of wicking with yarn & cheesecloth was fun until it wasn't. I still have 99.9% of it left.

@Foggy back in the day we didn't boil any of it. Oh & if you run out of cheesecloth, Amazon is where I got mine.

!!! G*NOTE FIVE !!!

I never boiled the cheese cloth I used either, separating the strands was enough work.
I did boil my wally world cotton yarn a few times when first starting to use it but stopped that too,too much hassle.

I've been using the `ole clear tape / sharpie way for years (on everything)
I have black & silver sharpies
and some things, I tape first, then write on the tape, then cover with another strip of tape...

painters tape & sharpie does better than I figured for some things also...

:)

I take a little sliver of paper write the dates on that, then scotch tape that to the battery so the paper is completely inbetween the battery and tape.

My experience with sharpie markers written on the battery is that over time the lettering got wider and wider, kinda like bleeding,to the point where it was difficult to read.

By any chance do you have a link for the tubing?

Kidney Puncher sells precut battery wrap tubing in 18650 precut lengths and a list of colors (including clear) for 15 cents each. Amazon sells rolls of 18650 tubing for about $7 for 30 feet.

You can shrink them on with a good hair dryer. A Dymo label maker, as someone suggested, is a good way to mark batteries (and juice bottles if you mix juices). Apply the label and then apply the wrap.

Love my chickens! Everyone should have chickens! lol
hen1917_zps37ub7sv2.jpg

I'd love to have chickens BUT city ordinances disallow raising chickens in town. :(
I do buy my eggs directly from a farmer just outside of town.I love them,3 dollars a dozen which is cheaper than the grocery store. The only downfall is....The farmer don't wash the eggs....I'm the one who has to wash the chicken shiet off the darned eggs as the wife won't touch em.

I love me a good egg salad sandwich with Mayo on whole wheat.

I love eggs! Can remember years ago going to a farm and buying cracked eggs for some ridiculously low price. 5 dozen at a time!

Well I kinda, sorta got vape mail yesterday....My 60 watt (4600mah) Movkin Luggy Mod and Atomizer prize that I won here at ECF arrived.I've been happily tootling on it since 2pm yesterday and have barely put a dent on the battery meter.
The atomizer comes with a rebuildable vertical head which should be interesting to try as I've never tried a vertical coil before.

I have the need for a super compact tootle puffer. I currently use my Halo Tritons, but they are a bit underpowered for me. Anything similar in size but a bit more piwerful? I have a slim ecig case and use it for situations when i need a super low key vaporizer. I was considering a Halo variable voltage, does anyone know what length they are? Thanks :)

Pen/stick form is key. Does anyone have these? I would like to see some comparison photos.

I don't have one, personally, but the specs indicate that the Mini eGo ONE is only about 4" long. Wish I had a real pic for you....

I rinse the mud and/or poop off before I sell mine. They are sold at the nearest AFB for $2.50. That's enough for me to keep them fed most of the year.
