I have the need for a super compact tootle puffer. I currently use my Halo Tritons, but they are a bit underpowered for me. Anything similar in size but a bit more piwerful? I have a slim ecig case and use it for situations when i need a super low key vaporizer. I was considering a Halo variable voltage, does anyone know what length they are? Thanks :)

sent from my Galaxy Note 5

What do you mean by more powerful? More Mah or more output?

hm. good question. this might be an obvious question, but do you mean output pertaining to size of vapor?

Mah is the size of the battery. How long it will last between charges. Think of the gas tank.

Output is how much power the device will deliver. The gas pedal

If you looking for something make sure it has variable wattage. I use Innokin VV3 and VV4 daily.

Pen like and light weight. They can be found for less than $15.00

O.k. blister-pack-poppin' Tootlers...... I've just loaded up my first (well, erm, 2nd because I burnt the first  ) Ni Triton Mini coil in my NAUTILUS! Me LIKEY!!!!!

This has just given me yet another option for these fabulous tanks.... I picked up the 1.8Ω Claptons too. Those shall be tested tomorrow!

My Lemo Drop came in today. First impression was metallic taste, so I emptied it and soaked it in hot water with a little Palmolive dish soap for about 30 minutes, then rinsed it well with hot water. That got rid of the oily metal taste.

I fiddled with the air adjustment and got it to match a Kayfun and vaped it for about 30 minutes. The body got really hot just vaping at 10 watts, so I pulled a vacuum by blocking the air holes to juice up the wick and finally got it cooled down.

First impression is that it's thin steel and heats up easily. My EHPro Kayfun 3.1 is heavier and stays cool under the same conditions that heated up the Lemo Drop. Flavor is not that much different, but I went back to the Kayfun for the night. I think flavor might be just a tad better in the Lemo Drop with a new wick compared to the Kayfun two days into a cotton wick.

I'll keep the Lemo Drop filled and work it into the daily vape for a while until I learn its character. It came with a silver coil that's probably Nichrome. I have SS 316L in the Kayfun.

Ding, you can deny it all you want - you ARE an enabler! :)
You're talking a Nauti Mini, non? I have one as well and would you believe I didn't really like it that much when I first got it? I know...I needed my noggin examined. I use it on the istick 30 I bought a couple of weeks ago and now LOVE the set-up.
Now I want to try different coils if all the cool kids are doing it!
Should I? Huh, huh?

So, excuse my ignorance, but what would be the difference between the regular naughty coils and a 1.8 Clapton? Will it get hotter? More vapor? Better flavor?

I was wondering the same. Didn't even know you could use different blister pack coils in the Nauti.

I only enable out of LOVE, my friend :D

I have the full-size and the mini (the Ni coil is currently in the full-size; I'll try the clapton in the Mini tomorrow - whilst WORKING :( )

You can't use the Ni on the iStick - you'd need a temperature control device for those coils.

I really only have three primary tanks - PT2, Subtanks (Mini and Nano), and the Nautis. I do have a Uwell Crown (for which I just acquired about a year's worth of coils  ) in addition to a couple of RDAs.

I've read mixed reviews on the Claptons. I'd ordered these from Fasttech, and after TWO MONTHS they finally showed today. Let me try the Clapton first - I'd hate you to spend if they are sucky.

However, the Triton Mini also has a 1.2Ω kanthal version that I'd like to try....

Well, that's going to be the experiment. Claptons can lend themselves to better flavor - more contact points for the juice to vaporize. But, how they get a 1.8Ω clapton intrigues me. I use 26/32 Clapton wire in my RDAs, but I can't build that high of resistance!!!!! No idea what the core and outer wire is - I'd have to guess 32/36 to achieve that resistance in that small of a head......

Some reviews say they run hot - I'll just have to see....

Not sure where I came across that nugget of knowledge. But, when I went to do some more research, they are advertised as being compatible. I don't know what the Triton or Triton Mini tanks are like, but I do understand that the regular Triton coils aren't compatible with the Triton Mini

I just got the claptons for the subtanks, and I have to run them at higher wattage, but the airflow on the coils is larger and I hate to admit it but the flavor is better. I just never thought of a 1.8 Clapton before.

Excellent to know, thanks Ding! Having only vaped for about 9 months, I'm still learning. Took me months to work up the courage to purchase something other than eGo ONES. I'm a protanker too (x2 plus the mini pt2). I still enjoy them very much. Also have the CF4, 1 Nauti Mini and the istick 30 which I now use more than the CF4.
Lots to learn.
Thanks sistah!!

I don't know for certain but I found the claptons heat up slower, (used in Cubis tanks) that is a bit of an issue for my 2-3 sec vapes. It's just getting right when I am finishing my toke.

Good Morning!

I'd agree with slower heating - Claptons have more wire mass than a single-strand. To compensate, on my thicker clapton wire, I'm running well over 20W.

Oh yeah, I forgot about my eGo ONEs!!!!! Love them too! When I find something I like, I tend to get MULTIPLES  Mods, tanks....

I'll keep you posted. (I've been at this for a couple of years, and I STILL have lots to learn....)
