I guess we're "lucky" out here, many shops still stock ready-made in 50/50, and up to 18. But if you want more PG or nic, yeah, out of luck. While I'm in the DIY juice camp, there are a couple flavors from a local shop (their mix) that I'll still get now and then, doing a small part in keeping them open.

And I hear ya on the inspiration ;)

Problem is, ya can't walk into any B&M and find juice that isn't 80% (or Max) VG and better than 6mg/ml Nic anymore. I DIY but every once in a while I want to try something new, even if not simply for inspiration...

Which is precisely why I have no use for B&M's. Easy to find my 12 & 18mg, plus whatever PG/VG mix I want - online at many... :vapor::)

Plus, it's often a lot cheaper.

When I occasionally go into a B&M shop and say I'd like a liquid at 18mg they look at me as though I'm from another planet :D I DIY most of the time but there is one particular liquid a local shop sells that I really like and I can live with the 12mg that they go up to with that one.

If i didn't see where you are from, i would say you live in Canada :D
Over here even 12mg is a lottery to find. Most "brand" liquids are sold at 9mg or less, and only couple shops carry some 18mg but those are their home made juices. Not that anything is wrong with them but juices like that i make my self :)
I'm a temporary foreign worker here, but i know what is my goal if i make it to permanent resident here in Canada. I'll open up a nice vape shop with various devices and some normal "old fashion" juices, that's what's in serious shortage here... Yesterday i came into one one of newly opened shops, looking for 1.8 Ohm coils for my wife's Triton. They were trying hard to convince me there is no such coils, so i had to Google it for them of my phone lol. In most cases that's the situation in shops around here. Uneducated youngsters selling stuff they know little about. Makes me wonder how many freshly turned vapers are really sticking to the vape because of poor customer service in the shops like that one :(

Guess we showed them!

(And, with the surge to 0.000000001 Ω coil toppers, and 50 megawatt devices, the cut-rate pricing for "lesser" devices has sure been good to us! )

I enjoy the closeout prices I find on rebuildables.

Every time I go into the local vape shop there's several people sitting at a table drinking coffee and blowing clouds. Last time I was there the front door was a hazy shadow from where I was toward the back.

Someone at their shop in another city complained and a city inspector stopped by and informed them that they must install and run a large attic type exhaust fan in the rear of the store anytime the store is open. Now, people complain about it being too cold or too hot, depending on the season.

The new ones are fantastic, but so are the older ones. They're different from each other, and each is special in its own unique way.

In other words, I think you did just fine with the Rev3, @rhelton - and congratulations!!!

ps: They make excellent complimentary companions to the XvoSticks. :)

Looks like I have to wait a little longer the deal fell thru. Which is ok the timing was not 100% ill find what I am looking for in the next week or two im sure.

Went in one such shop here in Edmonton. I was looking for the Milk man from One hit wonder since the whole town was talking about it, and it has been sold at the rate it was getting stocked. So i finally find one shop that carries it, and go there. The shop is inside the commercial building on the 2nd floor. Got there, opened up the doors and ran onto the fog so thick i couldn't see 2 feet in front of me. Huge cloud of fog ran out the doors and i saw the contours inside the fog. Went in, asked for the juice, got it, and in the meantime doors have opened up again. Older guy came in and his first words were "omg this looks like a [edited] shack back in vietnam", turned around and left the shop. A person like him is likely never to enter a vape shop again, because first impression always counts...
Edit:
Sorry about mentioning the Op... thing, didn't know it's not permitted in the sentences. Won't happen again ;)

A 30ml bottle of juice last from 7-10 days. I use 2 packs of coils a month a $3.06 per pack. Gear on clearance all the time. I have only paid more than $40 for a mod twice. everything else has been the clearance bins online.
Now that is smart vaping. Its the shiytitis that get me every time.

Just be absolutely sure that the package says 100% COTTON. Many yarns are synthetic, and you don't want those!!

mine said: 100% cotton grown in USA - assembled in Canada

I always called it 'kite-string' cause it reminds me of a ball of that old kite string from years gone by...

The shop near me is owned by a toodler and stocks 24 mg.
Canada is an extraordinarily large country, perhaps you mean Edmonton. :D
Well, been in couple of them in BC, one in Saskatchewan, and it was pretty much same thing everywhere. I didn't say there isn't any, it's just they are so hard to find :)

Yeah, you are probably correct, I don't visit many vape shops. :)

Vaping costs me about $50 per month. Smoking was $11.00 per day and it has gone up from there. It's the vape stash that has cost a fortune. I have 20 internal battery regulated. 20 replaceable battery regulated and 15-20 mechs. Miles of wire, boxes of spares soon to be liters of nic.
