I haven't been able to use them successfully on anything smaller than 28g. 28 is a struggle, 27 is a breeze, 26 even easier.

I just use them as a mandrel anyway. Thanks for confirming. I use 29g or smaller.

GMTA (I had a feeling...). ;)

I also have plans to do the exact same as you, once I begin rebuilding them (do they ever wear out??????). I plan to open up that range so I can use them more frequently on my 2.5's.
I think you were responding while I was adding something to my original post. This:

ETA: It's true I've used them at 1.0 on the Provari, but until you explained it, I didn't know how or why that was possible. So, thanks for the explanation.
Can I assume then that I can use the stock CLR coil on my P. mini while it lasts?
So, without me scanning this enormous thread all the way back, would someone please tell me where in the States (or that ships to the States) can someone get the 19mm (2ml) ego one v2?

I've been on Vapecrawler and all of the US sites are sold out, and I don't know how to order from HG.

That stinks. I'd send that pic and an explanation along to MFS as soon as possible. They need to replace it.

Email and pic already sent. This was my first time ordering with them we'll see how they respond to this and whether or not I will order from them again

I've only ordered the glass bottles, but I'm more likely to get leakers due to altitude/air pressure changes with plastic. Let MFS know what you got.

If that is your nic base, you might want to double bag and put that in some kind of plastic container in case it leaks more and handle it carefully until you find a way to dispose or deal with it. Do you have any large glass jars or bottles that would hold that much liquid if you transferred to another container? I think the contents should be OK, but you will have to take care of the spilled liquid to keep your family and critters safe.

Actually since I'm not a tootler, I don't really belong on this page. I vape normally an 0.3-0.5 ohm coil at anywhere from 20-30W's. Guess I'll leave now. :)

I tootle, I modwhomp, I don't cloud chase. Most of my at home vaping is .5-.7 between 20-30w. You belong!! We love all types of vapers here.

You can use the CLR 1.0, but, as DP noted, it limits the voltage range of your Provari to between 2.9 to about 3.3. I don't mind that, but when I rebuild a coil, I do it around 1.5.

That should work then because I usually have the voltage set at 3.3.

wowzer !

that is an OLD SCHOOL Top Coil Vivi Nova

ya'll have to learn the Harry Potter wand wave to keep those wicks wet

if ya THINK yur gonna like it and use it
better find the coils and buy-a-plenty, they be getting scarce...

also a concern (I had back when) was a HOT drip tip with the coil being that close to your lips...

Yup, that's a Vivi Nova. It was the first device that I owned (not including Blus, and other cigalikes). It got me off of cigarettes. I liked the ability to change the middle out for different colors, and I didn't know anything else. It worked for me (I missed the carto years).

That said, a couple of months in, I needed more. There wasn't enough air for me, and the drag didn't produce enough vapor for me to feel satisfied. I left the vivi novas for a protank 2, and then evods. I found the vape much more satisfying, the flavor far better, and I preferred "hidden" coils aesthetically to the long threads of the vivi novas.

That is not to say that you won't like them. They do what they are supposed to do. The vape is cooler than a protank vape. The draw is different, the air intake is different, the flavor (even when using the same liquid) is different. Try it and see what you get. For $6 you might find that you really like them. If not, they are an easy to use set-up (although I'm not sure that you can find the coils readily available anymore), and you could pass them forward to friends that might be trying to quit.
