wowzer !

that is an OLD SCHOOL Top Coil Vivi Nova

ya'll have to learn the Harry Potter wand wave to keep those wicks wet

if ya THINK yur gonna like it and use it
better find the coils and buy-a-plenty, they be getting scarce...

also a concern (I had back when) was a HOT drip tip with the coil being that close to your lips...

:w00t:

They were only $1 each. So if I don't like them I will only be out a total of $6

I raised many of these little guys from hatchlings years ago when I was a licensed wild bird rehabilitator. They are magical creatures.
OH MY, @Bea-FL ! I can only imagine how tiny they are. We have never found a nest here at home, but we feed lots of Rubythroats. They are one of my absolute favorites.
I ran a bluebird trail for years and worked closely with rehabbers and a bander. The smallest species of hatchlings I have experienced would be the Black Capped Chickadees, but hummer babies would be even smaller yet. How special that you got to work so closely with them. The rehabbers have a very difficult job, indeed! I am happy to know you and it speaks volumes about the kind of person you must be.

I like the Melo tanks

but they fall third in line to my current platoon of topper tanks...

eGo ONE / Kanger SubTanks' / Melo

I have a few stray dogs of tanks in the back of the storage unit but I can't even remember what they might be (except loosers )

tootle puffin' would be what one makes of it, reguardless of air flow
jus depends on how ya like it...

:glug:

I'm more of an air control closed to the point you can barely see a sliver of an opening. If you recall, until very recently, I had been huffing on Protanks for the last few years.

Thinking about it though, in theory, couldn't you take just about any tank, restrict the air flow internally or via small bore tip, and put a tootler coil in? It sounds like it would work, again, in theory.

For the Melo III tank, I bought these to try. They are easily rebuildable if you can rebuild an EVOD/ProTank or eGo CLR coil, as they are of similar design and you don't need to muck around with small screws.
Yep! Those are what I have too. Very easy to recoil and rewick.

Hi @LynnNC! How are you doing, long time no see!! I have a Melo III tank (Came with my Pico kit) and I bought the ECR coils at the same time. I haven't used it because I heard so many differing opinions about the flavor not being too great in comparison to the same liquid in a different tank. Or the airflow not restricted enough. Maybe I will get it out of the box. Are you happy with the Melo III? Would there be good flavor at around 1.0 and 10-15 watts?

The Ego One is not as tight as the Kayfun Lite, but it can be adjusted down to a really nice tootle puffing level. I usually replace the drip tip with a smaller bore than the stock tip, also. Overall, it's just an outstanding tootling tank with the 1.0 CLR. In my opinion, the coil is the key here.

The eGo ONE is not as tight. The Pico can be...

Usually requires a bit more work than that to get proper air flow through the tank. For instance, the coil on the right is a much modified ECR coil (unmodified on the left).

XVOUzty.jpg

Has a modified positive pin, insulator, above coil vapour concentrator and air pipe restrictor and not shown, drip tip.

I'm thinking it's best to have the restriction after the coil so you don't create too much vacuum at the coil, causing flooding.

Well, been busy, had to spend a couple days travelling for work in Canucklehead land, I mean Canada, so I'm a bit behind.

Congrats Kat, sorry I missed the big day!

So any of our Canadians care to answer a question? Do all Canadians like to use misleading phrases, or is it only Totonto-ians (Torontorians? Torontians? whatever) or is it only the people that program the signs on the 401 through Toronto?
A sign that says "401 moving slow from A to B" is a bit misleading when it really means "401 not moving at all, traffic jam from HE double hockey sticks" and equally misleading were the signs which stated rtafiic was moving well after you got past a certain point, as what those signs really meant was "It's not a standstill but you'll be lucky to reach 1/2 the posted speed limit"

Hehe I avoid the 401 whenever I can!

just a refresher :D since it seems the `lil eGo ONE & CLR is gathering momentum on the tootle-front...

You wanna talk old school, I picked up a couple of these for my hub. I remember using these back in 2012, when I first tried vaping and it didn't stick. Don't ask me why he likes these I have no idea. At least they were like 60 cents each!

Well actually they don't work that well, because he started smoking again. I guess he's a hybrid because he Vapes occasionally. I keep telling home he needs a better device. But I'm staying out of it, he needs to do it when he wants to. You can only quit if you truly want to...I just don't like the smell of cigs at all anymore

Smart Chels. My son is a on again off again vaper as well. I give him subtle hints (advice) but I don't push. He loves using my old MVP's and a Nautilus when he does vape.

Actually since I'm not a tootler, I don't really belong on this page. I vape normally an 0.3-0.5 ohm coil at anywhere from 20-30W's. Guess I'll leave now. :)

Hi Lynn,Haven't seen you since one of them contest threads.I hope you're keeping well!
