So what do you guys think of this tank? Yes, I love my egg roll, but also need to beef up my tank stock

Haven't used that particular one, but have/had some of the pyrex retro fit kits. You may have a problem with it coming apart by itself, as it's only the o-rings that hold it together...

I have a tendency to stay away from a lot of the "styled" stuff from FT. Some are good, some not so much.

You don't need to. Just get to a happy place with the tanks you've already got. You've had trouble with your KF 5 before, no? Then buying another KF-like atty seems... well... a bit masochistic. Learn to get along with what you've got first, and then expanding the horizon makes much more sense. Especially if the budget doesn't stretch into the great unknown ;)

Seems to me in general, you like to go the hard way. You insist on building vertical coils, why? Ask @Krisma how she modified her coils so she can build them horizontally. Give yourself a break, why don't you?

Just me, I’d skip the obscure ‘tanks’, it will be difficult to acquire pieces & parts.
If you want something for a stash or is fda resistant or just something new to try might I suggest a Toptank mini.
Many selections of replaceable heads, comes with an easy to build & wick single coil rba deck, can be mtl or dtl, easy to find pieces, parts & accessories.

Very difficult to recommend delivery devices without knowing what kind of a vape you are looking for.

Just me, I wouldn't buy anything from fastech again even if they were the last place on earth that had oxygen in stock.

No, I don't like to do things the hard way. [emoji4]It's just that I go through a lot of the ego aio coils and they are built vertically. I don't see how a horizontal would wick properly in one of those coils. Of course, they aren't meant to be rebuildable but I like to try to save $ on coils.
Also, I was considering giving a different kayfun a chance. Because I find that the v5 is VERY easy to coil and wick, I just don't like the taste or how I can't seem to adjust the airflow, which should be easy to do

I don't think we are here to judge each others' interests and preferences.

I like new questions and issues being raised.

I doubt anybody here would like to have me judge their choices and interests in vaping.

Different strokes for different folks!

Maybe it is time to stop & figure out why you're going through so many heads first, a problem that will almost certainly follow you to any delivery device you go to.

The better the delivery device is at producing flavor the less flavorings you need to use in your DIY liquid.
DIY e liquid you've made that tastes good in a prostank will most likley be way over flavored for a properly set up kayfun.
Over use (%) of flavoring & especially sweeteners results in reduced head life rapid coil gunking & wicking material funk & unusual weird funky off tastes.

Can anyone recommend a cheap heat gun for shrinking battery wraps? After almost a year, I just noticed the first tiny rip on the negative end of one of my batteries. Figure it's time to start thinking about re-wrapping since the batteries still have plenty of juice left in them. I've watched several vids and have an understanding how to do it, but I need something to shrink the wrap. Would prefer not to use a cigarette lighter just because I'm a rookie and want to be extra safe.

ETA: Don't have a hair dryer.

I'm sorry if I came across as judgmental. I don't mean to be. I just want to save people from purchasing a lot of stuff that might not work for them while they're not sure of what works for them. @ChelsB mentioned she spent $ 200 in one weekend on vape gear. I can't look in anybody's wallet, but that seems like a lot of money while she has a lot of gear already at home, some of which she's having some trouble with.
I used to buy all kinds of stuff and much of that never worked out for my way of vaping. Lots of money spent on stuff I'd use once or twice. Untill I learned how to make things work for me, I just kept buying things. So what I'm trying to do here is get people to make things work for them, and learn, so they will be able to find what works for them and not go all over the place buying things they'll never use.
