Recommend you avoid the Monster V3 you posted for 3 reasons.

1. Only held together by O rings. Put this in a purse or pocket it is likely to come apart and dump your juice.

2. Its top filled, and Monster V3 has NO juice flow Control so leak city even if the O rings don't fail.

3. No AFC. Its wide open all the time. YOU CANT MOUTH TO LUNG a Monster V3. Completely a direct lung atty.

I'm sorry if I came across as judgmental. I don't mean to be. I just want to save people from purchasing a lot of stuff that might not work for them while they're not sure of what works for them. @ChelsB mentioned she spent $ 200 in one weekend on vape gear. I can't look in anybody's wallet, but that seems like a lot of money while she has a lot of gear already at home, some of which she's having some trouble with.
I used to buy all kinds of stuff and much of that never worked out for my way of vaping. Lots of money spent on stuff I'd use once or twice. Untill I learned how to make things work for me, I just kept buying things. So what I'm trying to do here is get people to make things work for them, and learn, so they will be able to find what works for them and not go all over the place buying things they'll never use.

Thanks. At least I was able to cancel quite a bit of spending through FT ! The rest is stuff I already know I like. Another Hana modz and egg roll and don't forget, I'm still stocking up on nic!

I have a tendency to stay away from a lot of the "styled" stuff from FT. Some are good, some not so much.
Agree. The couple I bought from them I tossed…except for my kayfuns and their spare parts…those are just fine.

Aah, good to know, I've never ordered a "styled" item from them

Ive had fantastic luck with FT styled attys.

Styled is another word for clone.

However tge Monster V3 you listed i wouldnt touch with a 10 foot pole.

I gave yoy three reasons to avoid it earlier.

Like Lynn said, some good, some not so. So good to ask about a specific item. I just prefer that my tanks thread together ;)
Could not agree more. Trusting O rings to hold a Tank together is a recipe for disaster.

You don't need to. Just get to a happy place with the tanks you've already got. You've had trouble with your KF 5 before, no? Then buying another KF-like atty seems... well... a bit masochistic. Learn to get along with what you've got first, and then expanding the horizon makes much more sense. Especially if the budget doesn't stretch into the great unknown ;)

Seems to me in general, you like to go the hard way. You insist on building vertical coils, why? Ask @Krisma how she modified her coils so she can build them horizontally. Give yourself a break, why don't you?
Mutu. A Kayfun and Kayfun V5 are to completely different animals.

LOVE KAYFUN 3.1 and below. Dispise Kayfun 4 and above. Especially the Mini V3

Just me, I’d skip the obscure ‘tanks’, it will be difficult to acquire pieces & parts.
If you want something for a stash or is fda resistant or just something new to try might I suggest a Toptank mini.
Many selections of replaceable heads, comes with an easy to build & wick single coil rba deck, can be mtl or dtl, easy to find pieces, parts & accessories.

Very difficult to recommend delivery devices without knowing what kind of a vape you are looking for.

Just me, I wouldn't buy anything from fastech again even if they were the last place on earth that had oxygen in stock.
To each their own. I have had fantastic luck with clone attys from FT.

Me too. As I am hard on my setups, they have to be able to withstand numerous drops and keep working. polycarbonate tubes and ss threads are my friends. My glass tanks and more delicate mods stay at home.

Maybe it is time to stop & figure out why you're going through so many heads first, a problem that will almost certainly follow you to any delivery device you go to.

The better the delivery device is at producing flavor the less flavorings you need to use in your DIY liquid.
DIY e liquid you've made that tastes good in a prostank will most likley be way over flavored for a properly set up kayfun.
Over use (%) of flavoring & especially sweeteners results in reduced head life rapid coil gunking & wicking material funk & unusual weird funky off tastes.
What Chels needs to do is kick THR tanks with premade coils to THR curb snd go entirely RDA or RTA.

My coils last about 3 months, and Dry burn tge coil to burn the gunk off and re wick every time the flavor goes off.

+1 on this ^. This is exactly why my every day tanks are a Merlin, Serpent Mini and the Theorem. I will use my Melo3 or "Egg Rolls" when I'm in a hurry and don't have time to rewick. Plus the coils for them are rebuildable.

I do have questions though...is it better to stock up on mods with electronics, even those that use external batteries or mechanicals that have none? What happens when the boards on these electronic mods go bad? Are you stuck with a paperweight?

Lynn if you like mechs prep them.

I dispise mechs. Half the time i take a drag on a mech i burn the cotton. So i prepped regulated mods

I have both. I have enough mechs to not worry about never having a vape. Then bought enough regulated to hopefully never have to worry about using them.

If you get mechs learn how to use them and make really good notes for when the time comes.

But isn't your time frame 7 years.

But regulated mods, or those with electronics like the Picos, Hana Modz, Provaris etc have electronic boards in them that make them work, right? So what happens when those boards fail? Especially if buying all these types of mods for a stash. That's more of my concern than tanks. I have good tanks. Rebuildable tanks but they aren't going to do me a bit of good say a year from now if I don't have a mod that will fire them.

Personally I have done a mixture. I think if you are comfortable with using mechs, and knowledgeable about how to build for them, it makes sense to have some in your stash. On the other hand I generally like having regulated mods with me, so I have both in my stash.
