I'm sorry I may not have "liked" everyone's post...but please believe me that over the past several difficult days I've read them all. You are truly like a family to me, and I love you all. Still don't have much time to post here...looks like I'm going to be moving up to upstate NY to be with family so there is a lot to figure out and plan. My life is a chaotic mess, but a person just has to take it a step and a moment at a time.

Master Puf - I must tip my hat to you. I acquired the top cap rings for my P-thingies. They are TRES BIEN with my full-size Nautis and my Subtank Minis.... Thank you for the heads-up

that made me think of another trick you might like
I've been using these silicone 'rings' for awhile now (2yrs) turns out they're VERY resilient (tuff)
they also have an 'eyelet' which allows for lanyard hook up...
they're supposed to fit 14mm-18mm and I used them as such but also stretched to 20mm
so thought I'd try to stretch them around the prothingy 23mm (22.86mm) diameter
well turns out they work great - provides 'shock' absorption, stops runaway rolling, lanyard
plus if you 'just' slide them up enuff they grasp and hold that flat ring from falling off...

that made me think of another trick you might like

Cool I like them and I have them as well. Most come in a brushed stainless but they polish up really nicely as well.

New York State is like Illinois. Except there is no confusion between state and city. When I say I was raised in Illinois, people immediately ask "Chicago"? Of course, more often here, because of the megalopolis of the lower rim of Lake Michigan.

Perhaps I used the wrong term? My daughter tells me that maybe I should have said "northern New York state"....Watertown. It's WAY up there near Canada near Lake Ontario.
