I've been using the `ole clear tape / sharpie way for years (on everything)
I have black & silver sharpies
and some things, I tape first, then write on the tape, then cover with another strip of tape...

painters tape & sharpie does better than I figured for some things also...

I'm all about CHEAP!!! Been playing with the Evod tanks for a few months now. Just cant imagine a simpler rba. I've had the airflow on them jackedup to the point that they are comfortable lung hitters *for me*. Ended up backing them down to MTL tho.
Just dropped My Cloupor mini + in the mail this morning in trade for a box full of ProTanks and related extras. PIFed my eGrip V1 w/rba base in the same shipment. Lookin forward to seeing what I can do with the PTs.

I'm definitely locked in on the low power experience. Just listed my Koopor Plus in the classies in hopes of getting money to by a Smok Silenus. I like my ... cotton but always find myself guessing when I cut off a new strip. I expect the rayon I'm getting in my Cloupor trade to be the same problem.
Looking forward to the yarn and/or cheesecloth eliminating the guessing game.

cool, once you get a handle on the "bcc" coils it just works great... IMO

always loved these once I found them

The ones I have have have lasted me a while now compared to regular Sharpies.. Almost a year on some batteries and no sign of wear... Hm one of those weird things I guess...
Mine might be crap ones then, I'll have to see if there is a better marker out there, I really prefer not to use the tape, but like to keep track of the age of my batteries.

After reading about dendrite formation I've started charging all my 18650's at 500ma instead of the 1A setting on my LUC 4 charger. It takes twice as long, but extends useful battery life and safety.

I realize you're talking about just changing the settings on your "LUC 4 charger"...but I have a "general" question re: charging at 500mA rather than at 1A.

I charge my Mods with a USB Charger (I mean we're only talkin' $12 for 5 Ports).

It has "Smart IC" ("automatically selects the most efficient charging current to recharge the batteries").

Early on...most of my Mods (eg. iStick-30W, VV V3, etc.) had a "thin" USB cord and were capable of charging at 500mA.

My recent Mods (iStick-TC40W and Wismec Presa-40) have a "thick" USB cord and are capable of charging at 1A.

So...question...if I take one of my "thin" (500mA) USB cords...and connect it between the USB Charger and one of my 1A capable Mods...will it charge at 500mA or 1A ???

Our neighbor behind us had chickens prolly bout 50 and we would throw all our scraps over the fence and they would fight for their share, it was great to watch being a city slicker I really never had any hands on with chickens unless they were fried. My fav was throwing a unsliced loaf of bread and watching them go at it. It got to the point every time someone would open the back door they would flock to the fence and chatter. I miss those chickens since the owner died a couple years back and they got rid of the chickens.
I bought a couple 18650 flashlights from FT to get a 2nd life out of the batts that don't cut it in my PV's no more.
You should buy some chicks. I had chickens for eggs but they can be MEAN when you go to get them.

Here's something I bet most of us don't think of either. We assume it's only our e-cig batteries but it's the ones we use in our house as well. When I throw out my 9-volts and other batts I always tape the ends like @DavidOck says. Good Advice for sure!!:thumb:

OMG That's scary! Thanks for sharing that. My son calls me the battery queen because I've got a box full of all kinds. This makes me want to give up that "crown.

Can anyone recommend a good marker for dating batteries that doesn't wear off? I know it's time for me to replace my batteries but the ones I have that I did bother to mark, I can no longer read the date. :nah:
I've done it several ways, just experimenting. Mark & cover with tape or clear nail polish, cut a strip of painters tape & write on that , which works better with dark batts that don't show black marker.

I don't think our 2 labradoodles would allow us to have chickens, they would play them to death. We live intown, a small town but still intown and not allowed chickens or other livestock. The town never bothered with her since I guess nobody complained. She did offer us eggs once in a while but I gave them to my mom since they were more or less free range chickens so if I cracked a half fertilized chick I woulda barfed and never eaten eggs again.

I cracked an egg with 1/2 a chick once. Horrible! But it wasn't from one of mine.

I just wanted to say thanks to whoever suggested these BVC converter rings for the Protank! I'm running an Aspire BVC coil in one of my PT2's and loving it :)

You finally got around to it, Enaud? Ha!

I've since had hubby widen two opposite holes (5/64ths bit) on a used up and gutted non Nauty BVC, horizontal coil with 30 ga., and wick with cellu cotton. Use them in the mini Subtank and the nano Subtank too.

To make the nano Subtank glass fit better, had him drill out the end of the upper section where the tiny silicone grommet is seated and can be popped out. The older smaller hole BVC's can be taken apart. All that's left of the top section then is a round tube with two larger holes nearer the bottom. It snaps back together with the bottom part and you're ready to recoil and wick.

I take the silicone grommet that slides down the chimney and covers the ProTank 2 wicks and use that to cover the bottom of the nano Subtank's air shaft which when put all together butts up to the top of my modded "open ended" coil and seals from ejuice entry.

Works well for my 9 to 10 watt tootle puffing ways with no leaking. Have yet to use the coils that came with the nano SubTank. :)
