Hey now...... I still sport mega heels (every now and then)!!!! :D Suits? Yeah, not so much. I prefer my heels adorned with PJs, but that's me. I'm such a trend setter.......

You said "TENNIES"!!! We were just having this discussion not all that long ago. I'm KatKurious as to where in this (once great) Nation of ours the language changed. I know in the East Coast, one MUST say "sneakers" and would prolly be flogged if they said "tennis shoes". Here in the West Coast, people say everything, but "tennies" might be the most common in MY 'hood.

So (for all), what's YOUR State, and what do YOU call 'em? (Aussie darlings, you are welcome to participate, as long as you don't call them Barbies.)

Would this be helpful, Dings?

My "state" is B.C. and we call 'em running shoes.

I still refer to flip-flops as thongs...much to the shock of my nieces and nephews (I think an horrific picture of Auntie JK in a thong burns in their brains.

I've lived in so many areas of this country that I gloat between sneakers, tennis shoes, & tennies. But my happy shoes are red Converse.

Ah, my SHE-RO :D

I was thinking there was an earlier iteration of the "way-back" days of ECF. I had something bookmarked on a different computer (but that has gone the way of the dodo.)

Obiviously, from the Hoosier(daddy) State - I'm saying Tennies (a.k.a. Tennis Shoes) I am bumpuzzled because it's Soda or Pop for *me* (I think whilst in college, I was "shamed" into calling the illustrious non-alcoholic carbonated beverage a "soda", but I'm finding myself reverting to my roots and calling it "pop" these days)
It's all Coke!

Pop is a southerner's daddy. Sheesh, can't take you anywhere, Dings.
Nope, gonna have to go with Dinger, it is and has always been pop for me, spent the first 14 years of my life in the Chicago suburbs and the next 30+ in boondocks Indiana. My cousins though moved to Maine in their teens, and quickly learned to say soda because they got laughed at for pop.
Back on topic, generally tennis shoes, but tennies is somewhat common in these parts.
OK, maybe that's not on topic for the thread, but it is on topic for your question.:D

All I have to test these batteries is the ZMax, and they always come out at 4.2v after charge.

What is proper disposal anyways? Other than these EFests I have a few old eGos that are also toast. Normal batteries I just pitch in the garbage...

I take them to my work, they have boxes set up for recycling batteries. Shhh, don't tell them!

I have always lived in the south but never called all soda "Cokes". I hate Coca Cola, it leaves a horrid nasty buildup in the back of my throat. I am a Pepsi woman. It does not mean I hate the other coke products. I'm in love with Pibb Xtra, much better than Dr. Pepper, but I can only get it in GA. Eh I think I'm complicated!:D:p

Welp, what if you're taking a nice walk? Do you also have walking shoes? (and I suppose if I don't curtail these intriguing questions soon, I'll have walking papers.)

So, for BC we got us some runners and walkers. Check. ;)

Thank you for posting this, Kat! Great article!

    I wear toe shoes!

    Now there's a visual.

I'm sure we'll find a way to bring this back around to vape...

So, I'm thinkin'.... we've got runners and walkers and sneakers, trainers with jumpers, peepers and flappers, and foot gloves.

Never mind. I'm not thinking anymore.
