Also take out your kick and see if it fires unkicked.
My problem solving routine goes like this.
Make sure tanks fire on other devices and the bottom pins are clean. (No shorts and resistance is ok and stable).
Find something else that fires on the mod.
Clean everything including maybe an eraser or superfine sand of the contacts.
Clean and carbon grease all the threads on the mod.
Adjust all pins
Try different tube sizes and batteries.
It has to be something annoyingly small. I do find my mechs dont perform as well with tanks that have floating pins and I generally use a dripper base for testing
Also take out your kick and see if it fires unkicked.
Also make sure the atty your trying to use does not have a spring loaded 510. Your contact pin will push the atty 510 and touch the neg with it. With the kick it will read it as a short.
I guess if the kind of topper is the variable, not my ballpark, since all I have is KF's and Orchids. I do find that with the mix of FT clones and EhPro's, I am adjusting the topcap contact more frequently.Just think of it as educational frustration. Once you figure it out..the lesson learned will stay with you forever![]()
I refuse to autopay anything. I get my paperbills, but pay online.@juskiddin
Thanks for the heads up on a possible postal strike!
If it happens it should be interesting,I get all my bills via Canada Post
(I'm one of those who refuses to go to e-billing)
I mount mine straight across so the wick falls straight to the deck right in front of the juice holes & stays there.Out of curiosity I have a question for Kayfun coil rollers...
How do you mount your coil,at a 45 degree angle or straight acoss the air hole? Why do you mount the coil the way you do?
I normally do mine straight across. This morning for a switch I made a coil and mounted it at 45 degrees.
Other than it was a bit harder to mount It's a bit early for me to notice if there's a difference yet.
Thanks!
I've been doing that on the last few builds just to ease wicking, but I don't notice a difference in anything else doing it any other way.I mount mine straight across so the wick falls straight to the deck right in front of the juice holes & stays there.

Question,
I will be unable to vape for about 2 weeks due to being in the hospital then rehab, do I need to empty all my pt2's of juice or will they be okay. This is a good type of hospitalization, one that will improve my QOL!
I will have to resort to the patch during my stay, but I am cool with that.
I just want to make sure my tanks and coils will be good when I get out.
All my mods are taken care of.
BTW I use silica coils

I've tried all ways and honestly, didn't notice a difference either way. So anymore, I just stick the thing in the way IT wants to go in and don't fight it anymore!
Uh, sort of in between?
Usually closer to straighter across, but not real picky. Don't notice any difference, other than a very slightly lower resistance if at 45, due to very slightly shorter leg length.
Depends on how/what you wick it with. Biggest advantage to angled coil is seen by those that still use silica or ceramic wick, gives more room to place the silica, some also prefer leaving the cotton tails longer and making a sort of "S" wick. Personally I've always pretty much just used the cross pattern.

As long as the coil is centered over the air intake, it's fine.
They are calling for snow this weekend.
