Morning. I should get the Pangu this morning so I will do a bit of a critique this afternoon.

Well that was fun. Opened it up. Cleaned it, selected the 1.5ohm coil, primed it, filled tank. I knew the airflow was wide open so I used one of my atomizer rings to limits it and then attempted to vape. This is not a MTL tank unless you do some serious blocking of the airflow both in the tank and on the coil head.

After a few mins the tank has travelled across the table to Hubby's Side (DTL just a tad sub ohm) :p

I should mention that the driptip was a source of irritation with the reviewers. Very wide bore, some normal driptips fit but look odd perched about the tank. The byleo external lips driptips are perfect for this. They are meant to go over the outside of cartomizers and they operate the same with these coils

I'm a confirmed MTL Tootle Puffer (usually end up 10W-11W)...with NO interest in rebuilding...

But then I ran across this thread eGo ONE tank series – CLR coil and decided to try an "eGo ONE Mega V2 Tank" and a 5-pack of CLR Coils-1.0Ω.

The eGo ONE Mega V2 Tank is 4ml., has AFC (can dial down to a quite enjoyable MTL level) and, although it's Bottom-Fill, is pretty quick/easy to refill.

The CLR coils are manufactured to be rebuildable...(and come with a set of instructions in each 5-pack).

However, since they're about the same price ($9-$10 for a 5-pack) as other coils, I'm planning on using them just like my other blister pack coils.

(They have very good "flavor" and a somewhat "dense" vapor.)

But...I figure when I'm finished with a coil I'll just toss it into a baggie...

Then...depending on how bad this FDA Dooming stuff gets...I'll try replacing the wick.

(And, if things get really bad...I'll try replacing the coil itself...)

Orange! Orange! Ohmagosh it comes in orange. :w00t:

So, JK, what color are ya gettin'?

I replace the wick now (usually once or twice) - while I have done a little bit of recoiling - I'm just saving them up for now and I will replace the coils when I have to...

Edit: I am going to find a young nephew with strong eyes to do it for me that is...

Do you by chance have an extra nephew?

Filling is a bit of a PITA, you'll need a syringe or one of those near zero flow needle tip bottles. You can bottom fill Taifun style, but have to be really careful or you'll end up with a mess. Deck is quite tiny, wicking can be a little tricky, need to get everything pretty much spot on or its going to flood/gurgle. not all drip tips fit in it, it is a bit on the small side for some.

Does that mean you liked it?

(Thanks! Seems like a pretty objective review!! :thumb:)

Yea - I may have 31 Nieces/Nephews - Great Nieces/Nephews - Great-Great Nieces/Nephews and still counting, however they all live up North or out West and have lives that do not include coming to Florida to help "Me" . . .

It is alright, not a favorite, fit & finish is pretty nice. Up to 6x 1.8mm air flow holes in the base, but a bit foolish since the air under the coil chokes it down quite a bit. I opened up the air flow under the coil, ended up being much better, still restrict it down to a tight MTL, but now wide open I can do restricted lung (my preference).

Flavor is nice, overall performance is pretty decent, but because of annoying fill method I don't use it much. I've tried a few authentic parts on it, and everything has fit.

Once it is full, and wicked properly it really is a quite nice vape, however I have other tanks that perform at this level and are much more user friendly.

Its kind of one of those things, don't regret the purchase, I'll pull it out time and again, but it will never make to the commonly used rack, and will mostly gather dust.

HaHa LOL... Mine are in Florida - about 350miles away, but it will be a good excuse to visit and while now some of them are only 10 or 11 yrs old - they will be a teen looking for cash by the time I need coils rebuilt... :):D:w00t::lol::lol::lol:

Let us know how you like the eVic mini. I'm curious (and looking ;))

I do like it JK !
It's the smallest mod I own and fits well in my pocket for out and about. It even comes with a silicone sleeve for some protection. It's fairly durable as I've dropped it twice so far on a hard linoleum floor from ~3 feet up with a kayfun lite atop of it and it still works.

It has temp control if I ever get around to trying that and a fancy schmancy clock to boot.
My only niggle with the mini is the magnets in the battery door. When I pull the mini out from my pants pocket all my dimes and quarters tend to come out with it too.
It's a fine little machine and works well!

It comes in orange too...
