I will tell you that it was a bugger and three-quarters trying to get the coil installed. Who KNEW you had to go all backwards on the winding!!!!! That wasn't a big deal, but getting 28 to stay pressed up against the wall with those little cone shaped grubby screws...... that was a FEAT! Like as in 20 toes, my dear!!!
I agonized over it til sweat was falling like the unknown thing called rain. (Kali. Dry. Drought. Yuck.) Finally, I figured it out.
WHEW! Thankfully, or dare I say hopefully, that coil will last thru 2026!!!

I am glad, m'Dear. I wrap left-handed, so this is au naturale for me. It's those KF's that give me a tetch of fit
I just wrapped 26g NiCr on my current one. Going to load (lovingly) with some rayone. Had a teensy singe on the cottone with which the old coil was wick-ed.
I think these are my favorite tanks. For me, incredibly easy and very flavorful - especially with a narrow-bore tip (even though the base AFC is wide open....)
I'm often hesitant to recommend something because all our tastes are different. I would have felt horrid had this been a bad experience for you....
