Actually, no. Remember, a usb charger will typically deliver all of 1A, hardly enough to fire a coil. What happens with passthrough is charging is momentarily paused and the battery fires the coil. When you release the fire button, the battery resumes charging. given that, if the battery won't hold a charge, passthrough will not help you.

This is correct.

When the battery in my istick 30 failed, it wouldn't fire even with 1A USB charger.

It's taken almost 1 hour for my m80 to go from 60% charge to 70% charge. This thing is almost brand-new I hope that doesn't mean the batteries are already dying?

What are you using to charge it ( power source)?

Keep in mind the Skillet's original retail price was in the $40-$50 range. Very much like the Provari you got for $20, they were not cheap a while back.
I agree that $40-50 is not cheap but I don't think Provaris and skilletts are in the same league. Originally provari classics and 2.5s cost over $100 - i cannot remember exactly how much. @pufZeppelin?

The only reason I bought them is because they are so cheap they are sitting in my vapocalypse stash. I bought 4 of them

Hard to follow it through the spaghetti, but is it plugged into the iPhone charger?

I believe an iPhone charger puts out 1A, so as long as it is not failing, it shouldn't be an issue. Just for laughs, can you try a different power supply?

All I have are iPhone adapters. But maybe if I try plugging it into the wall that will help?

I'll try this one

That's a 2A wall wart.Usually used with iPads. Also works with iPhones. If your mod cannot pull 2A, it will simply pull whatever it was designed for, likely 1A. You won't really speed it up with this. And the rate of charging is like boiling water. It will never happen while you're watching.:)

Just leave it for a bit and come back in a few hours to see what it did.
