Kat has, like, 732 or somethin nother of the eGo tanks.
WOWSERS. They must be good.
Bea, I think I have some GS-M's that I don't use anymore. I've graduated to all rta's now with the exception of the eGo-V2's and the Melo3's that came with my Picos. If I can find them do you want them? I don't have coils because I would rebuild the ones I had.Let me know..
Haven't tried my Melo that came with the Pico. You like it?

FYI, the Melo has an available RBA that works a lot like the CLR heads... I build EVERYTHING I use and have only one clearo sans RBA left in my collection... the AnyVape Peakomizer... chosen because it will accomodate Kanger Protank/EVOD heads, Aspire BVC heads, or, I think, Nautilus/Triton Mini heads.

Oh my gosh that looks like an old mechanical keyboard. If it's not, perhaps I should get a magnifying glass as well.

It's probably around 15 years old and gets daily use. And with comments like that I won't tell you about our microwave or tv's

Well, been busy, had to spend a couple days travelling for work in Canucklehead land, I mean Canada, so I'm a bit behind.

Congrats Kat, sorry I missed the big day!

So any of our Canadians care to answer a question? Do all Canadians like to use misleading phrases, or is it only Totonto-ians (Torontorians? Torontians? whatever) or is it only the people that program the signs on the 401 through Toronto?
A sign that says "401 moving slow from A to B" is a bit misleading when it really means "401 not moving at all, traffic jam from HE double hockey sticks" and equally misleading were the signs which stated rtafiic was moving well after you got past a certain point, as what those signs really meant was "It's not a standstill but you'll be lucky to reach 1/2 the posted speed limit"
That reminds me of Chicago's south side. The first time we were there we used a map - that was over 30 years ago so no GPS. The maps directed us to this and that road…only those roads werent there!

I LOVE those old keyboards. No kidding! I was a computer tech for years and had a secretary that refused to type on anything else. So when I'd replace her computer, she'd refuse the new keyboard that went with it.

Ditto. I have an electronics degree, been vaping for 5 years, and still never re-wicked or built a coil. I've bookmarked it also.
I can rebuild but dont like too. I suppose I may have too some day, depending on the FDA regs.
That works. Usually I use a 2.5mm mandrel, 28ga kanthal with about seven wraps. I'm not picky about getting them to an exact number. Ball park works for me.
Me too. I'm happy as long as I'm in 1.5 ballpark.

Thanks Lynn, that's very kind of you but I think I'm set. Check with Deb. She has a friend who uses them…I sent him a few extra ones I had.

I just made a call ... the signs have now been fixed.

I use the RBA's that fit the Melo's. Right now though I'm using coils for it that a great friend sent me. These coils can be used in a variety of tanks.

FYI, I am pretty sure I left a couple of those RBA heads that Shawn mentioned with you at Christmas. One of these days I'll show you how to use 'em.

I'm exactly the same way, Bea. I do like the 1.0 CLR very much, and it's not a hot vape. But when I rebuild it, I usually wind up about 1.4 or 1.5. For one thing, that allows me to use the tank on a Provari 2.5, which doesn't like coils under 1.2Ω.

You can use them on the 2.5, Mike - I have. The issue there is it's a limited range (2.9-3.3v, or thereabouts). The 3.5 amp limit comes into play, sometimes at 3.4, always at 3.5 and up.

If you're OK with the range though, tootle-at-will. :):vapor:

Have you watched a video on rebuilding the CLR to see if you can do it? The good news is, even if you can't rebuild it, the 1.0 CLR lasts a very long time, and it is very easy to re-wick. In fact, after several months using them, I haven't had to rebuild any, though I did go ahead and rebuild a couple to 1.5Ω for use on a Provari 2.5.

Hope you enjoy them. Here's a vid by Mr. @Shawn Hoefer his own self:

    Thank you BOTH!

I'd make fun of you guys, but I'm not far behind.

I honestly think that's one of the reasons subohm vaping caught on so quickly. Mui grande coil sizes are much easier to build and wick. I have three sets of helping hands type magnifiers, and an eyeglasses loupe attachment. I don't use 'em much anymore as I no longer build PT or BVC heads...

Actually, I use them, too. Haven't had any problem, though every time I tell someone they can do that, someone else comes along and says nothing below 1.2Ω...lol. So, I just stick with the 1.2 story. Tis simpler. When I do rebuild, I do it at my preferred 1.5 range.

ETA: It's true I've used them at 1.0 on the Provari, but until you explained it, I didn't know how or why that was possible. So, thanks for the explanation.
