Just my :2c: on TC-stuffz.....

I fiddle with some Ni200 coils (pre-made for the Nauti/Triton Mini.) My interpretation on at least setting up TC is that the Wattage merely determines how quickly you get to your set Temp. I'm a mid-range vaper - 12-50W, and 50 is pushing my threshold. I don't like an excessively warm vape, but I don't like a cold vape either. I dabble with SS coils, but I've yet to get one of my mods to deliver SS TC the same way I like SS in VW mode. Admittedly, I've not played with my more "sophisticated" mods to get SS TC the way I like it. I will continue to muck about to find another level of vape nirvana.....

If I was any happier with the vape I've been doing for 5 (?) years than I am, I might be arrested for indecency.

;)

How many are there?

Is there a chart, by chance? :D

This is the beauty of vaping. Each of us can find what WORKS FOR US. No way is any better than another - it's just what gives us enjoyment and keeps us away from cancer sticks.

@Katdarling - you're on deck for a spreadsheet ;)

A lot depends on how you believe TC should work ... should it control the whole vape once your coil has got to the temperature you *think* you want (and on some mods, this is the only way they TC), or should it prevent a well performing coil from hitting a temperature limit because of an abnormal event? If it's the former, more sophisticated mods may be required, OTOH if it's the latter, you already have a SS build and mod that'll perform well in TC.

98% even! ;-)

I'm going to need temp control very shortly. "Inches" control too, from what they're saying.

As Kat put it, just a few short moments ago...

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: (< That's 12 if ya's counting. Apparently the bare MINIMUM of what we'll be shoveling out tomorrow)

Woot. :|

Truth. I have tried a couple of my mods that support SS TC, and I wasn't "impressed" - so, is my build not that great or am I expecting more? That's what I have to play with. I'm currently staring at 10 different mods with 10 different toppers and builds. I'm rotating hits, just because I can :) That, and I have "Flavor ADD" and I want bakery cinnamon in one, watermelon in another, cherry in yet another :D

I just love the "experimentation factor". I've even come to the point where there is NOTHING more I want to buy at this time. I have so many different setups - have I maximized what is possible? There's from where the fun comes.

@DPLongo22 - hoping you don't have to dig out TOOOOOO much  I'm on the road tomorrow - potentially driving into more muck than I really want, but when clients call......

If they call TOMORROW, tell them to :censored::censored::censored:.

I have never used theirs but have used Pima cotton from someone else. I like it better than most cotton, but it takes a little break in. Best way to use it is soak it in juice, then fire the coil while blowing the vapor away a few times. Otherwise you get an off taste for awhile. Given the price, maybe Native Wicks doesn't have that off taste, but the Pima I used did.

Some do that with rayon as well. :)

But, but, I like my Polo shirts of Pima cotton. I'm not sure I want to cut them up just for the sake of a wick. Besides, don't the color dyes change the taste, or is that overthinking it? :D

Different colors, different flavors :w00t:
