Wow you guys with diy an building, how do you find time? I have no spare time whatsoever!

When your buying factory coils that are 2-5 bucks each I rebuild mine for less than pennies each. Paying @50 cents a ml for commercial juice that packed with sweeteners and who knows what else, my juice is @3 cents per ml and clean. I find time to sit down for 5 minutes and build a coil then another 5 minutes to build 100mls of juice. My wife and I vape for less than 10 bucks a month now.

It really doesn't take that long. I pull out the diy stuff a couple times a month, replenish ADVs and make a few testers. I rewick every couple of days but it literally takes 5 minutes, don't need full builds very often. Full building and diy I do after the kids are asleep and it's what little "me time" I get.

There's a big difference between a snarky comment and a comment coming from legitimate concern about ones safety/welfare. I've only seen the latter from you

totally agree with both.

I get to pick up the hubbys engraved kayfun chimney today, I hope it turned out well. Especially since it cost me more than the whole tank did :p

Hmmm....

Building. A coil can last a loooooonggg time, dry burn and rewick as needed. And, once some practice is under the belt, even recoiling (on a simple single strand single coil) can take less than 5 minutes - after months of use.

DIY juice.... I mix my "working base" slightly higher in both nic and VG that what I want. My flavors are all in PG, so adding them in lowers the nic and ups the PG. So I only need to measure my flavor(s) and top up for the desired amount of final mix. Cleanup takes longer. :)

I will! I went to pick it up right when the place opened but they told me it won't be done until 3 (one more hour). Going to pick the big kid up from school at 3 and stop on my way home.

As soon as I knew I COULD diy I knew I wanted to, so within the first few weeks of beginning. There's no way I could vape for less than I smoked otherwise and I'd rather spend my vaping budget on "shiny."

Well said!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@Bea-FL thanks for them words, you was totally right.
Now offending someone, I don't agree with that. No one has the right to use hurtful remarks!

Bea I lost the first post to quote as well.

I agree totally. Humour, sarcasm and all those actions that often need fatial expression or context to be understood can often come across in ways the poster had not intended. The folks in this thread are some of the most polite and respectful people I know and if at anytime you feel as though something said was hurtful or anything then I hope everyone feels as though they can address it directly.
Thank you all. Even writing this post took me some time because I wanted to make sure it said what I meant. It's much easier to say things face to face.

But saving money on coils and juice you could get that new piece of guitar gear you've been drooling over (Marshall head, effects pedal, whatever).

Vaping has been more expensive than smoking for me, sorry but I can get a pouch of tobacco for 20$ an it lasts a week. My liquid an coils cost more than that an I can't be bothered with diy an building :(
Much of that has been a hobby choice though.. get 2 reliable mods, 2-3 Nauti 2 attys and don't buy anything else gear wise. A Nauti coil should last 2-4 weeks on average. The rest goes to coils bought on FT (free shipping and cheap) and then rest on juice.
