eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator

For your first recipe you could start with a simple tobacco recipe, use the calculator above:
You will need this flavoring:
SC-Dunhill Super Concentrated Flavor
and some
  • VG
  • PG
  • Liquid Nicotine
You can pick that up wherever you feel comfortable and find a good price.

Read up on those links provided, download the calculator and then mix up a simple recipe using:
  • Dunhill 2.5%
  • VG 50%
  • PG 50%
  • Nic - whatever mg you normally vape
Simple as that and you will have a good tobacco vape right away and after a bit of a steep even better.

Where do you usually find recipes?

There are also quite a few one shot flavorings out there now too, easy as can be, one flavor at the recommended percentage, then nic, VG/PG. Shake it up and age as recommended.

So me and the wife go through 60-90 ml per week (she still sub ohms) how much of each ingredient should I buy to start?

I would suggest grabbing the calculator and play around with that a bit as you read up on DIY.

    Some food for thought

These days we have real-life friends and we have virtual friends, and sometimes the latter even becomes the former, but for the most part the two remain separate cloaked behind the anonymity of avatars.

This anonymity seems to make some people forget their manners and say things that they wouldn't say face to face - comments that hurt other people's feelings. Sometimes these hurtful comments aren't even intentional, they are made in jest, and we attach emoticons and LOL to them to compensate for the fact that the expression on our face cannot be seen - attaching them to an ambiguous post makes clear our intent to tease not to hurt or insult. But that doesn't always work…depending on the wording, they can still hurt.

Either way, posts that may be perceived as hurtful, intentionally or unintentionally, are best left unsaid. Just as in real life, we won't like everyone we meet in forums. We become friends with some, tolerate others and dislike a few. When we are tempted to respond to a comment we don't like, let's try to remember the saying that most our mothers told us: "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." I would like to add to that "or say it but respectfully."

In this forum where new vapers turn for help, many will hesitate to ask questions for fear of being ridiculed or an unpleasant comment. When that happens we've lost the chance to educate.
Certainly some truth to this, though I think this thread (and for the most part this forum) is filled with good people who do try to avoid being hurtful or mean.

That said, some people often make snide and sarcastic comments to their real life friends, with no malice intended. That tends to carry over to their virtual friends as well. This is why certain emoticons exist in the first place. I'm not sure where this comment came from, but I know that just last night I did exactly that, joking around with @VapeLuvr about the forum slowing down while she was away. I tried to make it clear that was a joke, and I hope it was taken as such by all who read it. If you are suggesting that joking around in that manner is inappropriate I'm afraid I'm going to disagree.

At least people try to treat others fairly here. I'm going to go on a rant...because if I do it to my boss, I'll no longer be employed. I'm sick and tired of double standards in the workplace. Why some people get to work from home, come in at 10 and leave at 1 are still around, is incredibly frustrating. While the rest of us put in a whole day with no special privileges . I should mention that all the positions in my department could be work from home. Aarggg, I'm so frustrated. Thanks for letting me vent, I really needed to get that out. Oh, I'm vaping outside on my new Sigelei while I write this[emoji4]

DO NOT just start picking flavorings willy nilly, find a few recipes you are interested in trying and then get the ingredients for those recipes. Some flavors are the star of the show and others are the backup players, you don't want to end up with a cart full of just one or the other. This doesn't necessarily apply to one shots. As you diy more you will collect more flavorings from each category. I usually pick up a few new flavors each week, especially now that I'm in a good place equipment and nicotine wise. I start out with the smaller sizes of flavors (usually 10-15ml) to make sure I like it. If I reorder the same flavor again I go bigger.

Small. 10 - 15 ml size. Until you know you like the particular flavor (and different brands of the same name won't necessarily taste the same!), don't go overboard. Flavoring isn't likely to be banned by the dooming, so no worries there. But getting stuck with 29 mls of a flavor you hate....

And DO consider trying each new flavor as a stand-alone, so you can find how it tastes to you. Makes mixing easier if you know what each individual flavor is like. (Unless the "flavor" is specifically an additive, enhancer. Or something like pie crust.... ;) )

Excellent advice I wish I would've listened to when I first started diy. There were just SO many yummy sounding flavors!
