The 2 reasons I sold my T18s were the fixed 14 watts, as you say way too hot and the fixed airflow of the atty which is way too airy for my taste. This is one of the areas where the N2 shines IMO, is the AFC can be extremely fine tuned to the user preference. Really wanted to love the T18 setup and if those 2 things had been adjustable would have made all the difference.
Yep...I just wish the N2 wasn't such a pain in the rear to fill...I'm finding the T18 & T22 airflow to be pretty nice on the iSticks...Plus I'm finding the coils to be lasting forever...Between the "Sticky Bun" & "Pecan Pie" I'm slurp'in down some pretty sweet stuff lately!!!...Trig :D

Agreed, the T18 is very nice on how to fill. Why they didn't put an AFC on there is beyond me.
Well if Innokin wises up and makes us Co-VP's of R & D they'll be more in tune with the Tootle Puffers...And hell...they can send me all the test gear they want !!!...Got'a be someth'in good !!!

I'm kinda glad I found my perfect device and tank this year. Now I don't have to buy something and find out I don't like it.:)
I can normally tell whether I'm going to like an RTA or not based on my criteria:
  • Simple single wire coils of 26 gauge or smaller
  • Above 1 ohm builds
  • Airflow coming from below coil with a 2 mm max (prefer smaller) path from AFC ring to inlet below coil
  • Small/tight deck
  • Short/tight chimney
  • Produces excellent flavor
I then read and watch reviews from the peeps I trust. I'll usually wait for a clone and try that first. If all passes I will then seek out the authentic if its high end and if I decide its something I truly will use for long term. This is how I ended up with my top atties.
  • Spheroid V3 and V4
  • KFL
  • Erlkonigin
  • Squape R(s)
  • Gem V1
  • BB with Exocet w KF5 MTL reducer
  • Gus Phenomenon Zest V1 (and Lite)
  • Hurricane V1.2 w KF5 MTL reducer
I love all of these and like to rotate them around, but I like a smallish collecting side of this weird hobby :)

The iTaste EZ Watt iSub 5 is a different animal see my link above your post...

The iStick 30 is 5-30 Watts this seems to have a minimum wattage of 13 ?

Again...Appears to be a minimum of 13...

The one gripe I have about the T18 is it's fixed @ 14 Watts which for me produces a warmer vape than I like...It can be mitigated by taking shorter draws / less fire time...And you can back the tank off 1/2 a turn to increase the air flow which helps...LOL...I don't want to have to think about all that !!!

I think a T18 / T22 tank on an iStick 30 @ 4.3v / 11.5w is like vape heaven for me...I know many prefer it even lower in the 8 - 10w range...And the Aspire Zelos works well for me with the T18 or T22 tank...In all honesty I think they produce better flavor than the N2 and are much easier to use...Also, I the month I've been using the Endura Tanks I have yet to see even an inkling of a leak...Not so much as a bead of weeping at a seam...

I think it looks like a Hybrid between the T20 & T22 with the hype being "Variable Wattage"...I guess they just don't understand Tootle Puffers...Dear Innokin, lower wattage please !!!
Innokin EZ WATT Kit 13 - 35w
I also see a new T20s. What's up with that?

I agree.thats one of the many reasons i like tge eVic VTC mini. And Pico. Those fire all the way down to 1 watt.

The 10 watt minimum is a deal breaker for me, just like the 7, 6 and 5 minimums are.
I stick to those that start at 1.

I don't know...It's almost like they're just try'in to cobble stuff together and get it to Market without really paying attention to what "that customer class" really wants...Or should I say "I Really Want"...OK so I'm greedy

I think you ought'a get in on the VP gig...We're gon'a have test gear com'in out our ears !!! :D

I fell in love with the nectar clone along with my provari and pico.
I did buy a fodi f2, but it started weeping around the 510 pin.
I have tried to take it apart, but it's stuck! ( I need help with it)

@Rickb119 i was really disappointed in myself when a lot of tootle puffers kept raving on the STM. They loved it and were stocking up on them, so I jumped on that train and bought a few..... hated them! So I kept thinking something is wrong with me, until I bought 1 nectar and I fell in love.

It seems that innokin is trying to bridge a gap between the endura MTL stuff and cloudsbro DL. I'm afraid they may end up with something that does neither very well.

Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

They already have lots of gear to do that with.

I find the STM is just a glorified Protank. I can get the same vape out of it.

I agree with most of this.

I prefer a 4mm ID chimney which is taller.
I don't care about flavor. If it gets to the point I am using rebuildable full time instead of playing with them I will just use unflavored.

I could see the Itaste ez-watt I-sub 5 being a good starter kit to give to a smoker as a gift, it's a decent price for a starter kit and looks easy going. The other one doesn't interest me at all, I pretty much always vape below 13 watts, and it seems there's no way to prime a coil, and it's vaping in some "range" of some sort? Meh. Meh.
