That is EXACTLY what they are.... and they do eat tarantulas. They are so FAST, LOL, good to know they're docile an I've never been approached by one directly, but they are pretty scary and fast movers, too... I got stung once by something on the ear, and that was immensely painful. It was probably just a regular bee since the stinger lodged itself in my ear, but something about being stung on the head... I ran through my office towards the first aid kit, screaming, everyone was making fun of me, and I've been stung plenty before, but something about the head area? I was nauseous and dizzy and my ear swelled to boxer size, honestly, I almost left early for the day. I don't mind bee stings usually but this was... unfortunate. If those wasps have one of the most painful stings in the world, I don't want to find out. :)

Speaking of wasps, my .... hurts.

Out baling hay decided to stop for a break in the shade under a mesquite.
Walked to the pickup to stretch my legs get another bottle of water, fill my kabuki & change the battery in the radius.
Got back started tractor engaged pto got back up to speed made it about 50 feet then noticed I sat on 3 yellow jackets that were taking a break of their own on the seat.
All these years never knew they could sting through blue jeans.

Never been stung by a wasp, but OUCH! I can't imagine 3 times in the ...., but that has to be awfully uncomfortable.

My little sister got trapped between the door and the screen door with a couple wasps when she was little. Necessitated a trip to the ER, the one good thing about bees is they do you the favor of dying after they've stung you *once*. I like to think of it as an equal exchange type of thing, but it probably isn't.... Not for the bee. The hive... maybe.

I live in the land of spice and I can barely handle tabasco either! :)

Me thinks you have confused Nickel with nichrome.

Interesting...I was under the impression that nichrome was lower resistance wire, but it's reading higher than my 316L wire of the same gauge.
Is this operator error?
