24mm View attachment 698273And no, I ain't buying a new mod just for it.
That's pretty much my sentiment as well...I like my iSticks & My Zelos and am planning on a couple of Pico 75's in the future...At some point will I have a wider mod ???...Probably but I'm not going to buy a wideglide for any one particular tank...And I agree with Anna & TT...There are a pretty good number of viable options out there...

Any of you folks vape NET juices? If you do, which ones?
I have tried a few and actually found two I enjoy in the Origen Tiny. The ones I bought are from a vendor on another forum.

Yep. I vape Black Note. I have two juices from them. Prelude. Which is fantastic. Also Quartet I have not tried yet.

Prelude is a light airy Virginia Tobacco and quartet is a spicy peppery latakia.

Prelude in my opinion is top notch. I have it in a nautilus 2 and I vape it between 17 and 20 watts using a 0.7 ohm coil.

I don't blame you in the slightest but it is super-fantastic. With that said, everyone loves le doggystyle and I can't even get it up and running....

Really? I'm so sorry to hear that. I love mine (I have the SJMY version, with moar air). That Berserker has a tiny 1.5 mm diameter airflow opening under the coil. Can't do. I need at least 2 mm or more nowadays.

I just saw that my OBS Engine RTA from MyFreedomSmokes was dropped off at the mailbox late yesterday ... Yaay! New toy for a Sunday afternoon build!

Wait, OBS Engine? I thought you were a diehard MTL vaper, Dave! So, how do you like it? Pray tell!

Don't know yet. I was out most of the day and only discovered it had been delivered when I checked my email. I've held it and removed the coil deck and looked at the air adjustment. Air goes down to fairly good MTL level but that's almost completely closed down. The dual post deck is a cinch to coil after owning a Griffin 22 and a couple of others like it. The only down side so far is that it doesn't fit Pico 75 because of the battery cap. It will have to go on my Alien, RX200S, or one of the Picos that don't have RTA width restrictions.

Flavor was the reason. Doggystyle may be next on my list. :)

Just FYI--SXK has a tighter draw (~1.8 mm?), SMJY has more air (~2.2 mm or so, more like a K4).

Please keep us posted. I've got an OBS Nano but it looks awfully drafty. :D Haven't tried it yet, though. @ricks claims it can be used as an MTL device, we shall see.

MyVaporStore has all three models of the Engine. There's the OBS Engine RTA, the OBS Engine SUB, and the OBS Engine Nano.
Electronic Cigarette | E Cigarette | myvaporstore

I misread the specs and ordered the OBS Engine RTA thinking it was 22mm (and taller) and the Nano was 25mm and shorter. They are both 25mm. I'll probably order a Nano eventually. Gotta have backups for the backups in case of FDA. The other model OBS Engine is a sub tank. I bought the RTA that's touted for MTL greatness.

My new OBS Engine RTA air flow closes down to tight MTL, but whether it will stay there is yet to be seen. I haven't coiled it yet. It's still to be seen whether it will create vapor at that setting. Reviews say it does and provides a great flavor vape. The air flow ring is nice and tight, so it should stay where I set it.

Right. I got the Nano because it's a single coil atty. Dual coils are too much for me--too much wattage needed, too much vapor, too much juice consumed. YMMV--as always.

Looking forward to your review of the Engine!

I vape the NETs daily. I like Naturally Extracted Tobacco a lot. Many of his flavored tobacco juices are terrific.
I also like Real Extracts (English, Kentucky Burley and Why Are 4.)
The latter are not very gunky.
The former are, but have more intense and diverse flavors for me.

I just started getting a burnt taste in my Berserker RTA.

If your cotton wick tastes burnt, it is burnt. Rewick and check the coil for hotspots?

Im' running it at 17 watts . The coil reads 0.7 ohms.

What's the gauge of your wire? If you're using high res, thin wire, it will overheat and scorch the wick.

Sounds like a wicking issue to me, but I agree with Katya that 28ga or heavier might be in the range R.Savage needs. Even my Kayfun Lite Plus vapes great at 17 watts on a .7 ohm 28ga coil. Just tried it. After a few minutes vaping at 17 watts it's still a good warm vape with no burning. I normally vape at 10W to 12W, though.

I just started getting a burnt taste in my Berserker RTA. Is the cotton gone already? I have not even gone through a 1/2 tank of juice.

Your wick should be tight in the coil when first installed. Once you get it in place, slide it back and forth to size it to the coil. My Koh Gen Do cotton wicks have to be twisted while pulling to get through the coil without bending the legs. I just roll the wick by twisting with my fingers as I pull it through. Once I get it in and slide it back and forth a few times to size it, the wick moves back and forth without bending the coil legs and the vape is good.

Any space between the coil and the wick will cause hot spots and a nasty vape.
