Kind of like here in San Antonio, our electric company is CPS, City Public Service. So, does CPS mean City Public Service or Child Protective Services? For that matter, when I see SA, I think San Antonio, while some people would think South Africa.
So, the Drunker, the Nectar, the Corolla, the Theorem, the OBS Crius, and the Avocado are all Genesis Tank Atomizers? They all call themselves either RDTA or simply RTA. In clearomizers, a coil on top with wicking hanging down into the tank (Vivi Nova, CE5, Kanger T-2) was around before the BCCs (Evod, Protank, etc).
To me, the main thing required to be a Genisis Atomizer is the tall positive post that's used to attach the coil for the vertical mesh wicking.
Yes, marketing/gimmick. If Digiflavor or any of the others come up with a better explanation for what the G in GTA stands for, fine. But, as far as I'm concerned Genisis/Genesis is already taken.
True. But, GTA has not been given a meaning. And, if they choose to say it means Genesis Tank Atomizer, the term is already taken and would simply cause confusion.
Maybe they have some reason for using the G. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the deck is raised off the bottom to avoid flooding problems. Gurgle-free? Or, maybe they had no intentions for the G other than just coming up with a new term without any specific intentions for it's actual meaning.
I know I'm sounding pretty picky, kind of like a grammar Nazi. But, that's how I feel. If someone were to ask me what GTA means, unless Digiflavor comes up with an explanation that makes sense, I would simply say that it means nothing more than a new made-up term to describe Digiflavor's Siren RTA.
