By passing through the threads of the 510.

Correct – but that only answers part of the question. Where is the source?

And in closing – if the channels on the 510 plate for the Pulse BF/80/X promote leaking. Then what about the channels on the 510 plates for devices such as the SVA Punto or Art & Mod EVO just to name a small select few. The channels on both these devices are so large you could drive a truck through them. Guess this goes beyond leaking with how some think.

Sorry, I misunderstood. If you've got that much accumulating the problem is not the top plate.
Then what is it then? It runs out from underneath the RDAs from the top of the 510 and runs allover the face of the mod and allover my shirt and everything else? My other squonkers (including my 4 Topsides) with the same RDAs that never happens. And the inside of the Pulse squonker is bone dry. What else could it be? o_O

Not sure. What I meant was, you don't have that much just because of the top plate. I understand and agree with you concerning the juice wells and juice build up, but why is there so much juice in the first place is the real issue. What else could it be other than the 510 connections of the rda's and mod?

Guess it is a product of the Instantaneous World we live in. Where Retailers/FB Pages/Internet Forums provide Information before the OEM even has a page about a new product on Their website.

Proves industrial spying exists & is rampant. Either that, or the industry is so very tight knit everyone knows everyone and their brother.

Ah, there goes Trip's knuckle cream guy. His brother said he would be on here tonight. ;)

I understand them trying to make a device better but try and get away from proprietary and use parts that can be easily accessable.

Alright, came to read over thread a bit to get an idea about the mod. Got an idea for myself and in fairness, no the Squeeze 2 was not exactly a "ringer". Nonetheless, have concluded for myself. Thanks. :)

Even Dovpo had USB issues. You may not have had the issues, but there were users who bought the device with a USB cord that was not a data cord. Dovpo was quick to fix this by replacing the old (yellow?) usb cord with a new blue one.
Did everybody know this except me? Except my first two have black USB cables and my later two have blue USB cables. Although I never tried using their cables, but my own to do the TC firmware.

Speaking about firmware, I noticed there is a v1.01 update for the nonTC version. I have no idea what is new in that one.

Re: magnets reversed.

Bad, the magnets are reversed. I get it on the initial black and red, but this shouldn't be happening on gunmetal.
My new blue and purple ones the magnets are reversed too. My black and red ones are fine. I checked all 4 caps and the polarity are correct on all 4. It's the door on the blue and purple ones that the magnets are reversed. They even repel the closing of the door.

Speaking about caps... what purpose is there a magnet in the cap anyway? I don't see what it does besides supposedly sticking to the bottom of the door. Although my blue and purple ones the caps are harder to screw on too for some reason.

I don't think any of the magnets on my three Topsides are reversed, and all of mine came with the correct data USB cable.

Different strokes maybe, but I think the ability to hang the cap on the bottom door is just fluff that I don't have any need for at all IAMA I always refill my gear on the desk where my refill bottles reside.

I had no problem with screwing the caps on my blue or gunmetal Topsides down easily, but on my silver one the cap was harder to screw down. I found that was caused by the adjustable cap magnet being a little loose. I snugged it down a little, the problem was solved and has never came back.

I believe the vid TVC released on his mod said the magnet in the cap was to help with alignment and prevent stripping the threads. I think the hokey bit about sticking the cap to the bottom of the mod was an accidental realization, not a design component.

Just before the top cap he talks about the bottom and door and points out those magnets, saying they kinda help keep the door closed or help keep it from sliding "but really...." and he goes into the top cap and how you can use the bottom to hold the cap. Doesn't sound like an accident and having the magnet in the top cap cannot help with alignment.

and so you set the cap down somewhere. If you don't flip it over you leave juice where you set it that you have to clean up. If you set it on say a tissue or paper towel - extra step. If you flip it over you get juice on you and have to flip it back over and get juice on the cap you have to clean up. It's not only a great feature for while you're in a vehicle, but anywhere, any time. I unscrew the cap off my fill bottle, unscrew the cap off the TS and put in on the bottom, fill, and put the cap back on with no juice or next to no juice on my fingers. A co-worker was contemplating what mod to buy and wen I did this he said, "yep, getting a topside". It's the main reason I bought it.

My personal choice seems to have struck a nerve with you. It's my choice what I do or don't do, not anyone else's.

And no, I do not ever have to clean up any juice at all when filling or using any of my Topsides. Their bottle system is the main reason I bought them.
