That means you're on your way. When you start thinking, "hey, I kinda like this vape stuff", that's the path to, "what the hell did I ever seen in those cigarette things in the first place?"
That said, I gotta warn you, you're five days in right? There
are weird periods coming. Frustrating ones too. Odd ball side effects and things that seem completely ridiculous.
They count over 4,000 (!) chemicals in cigarette (and other tobacco) smoke. Nicotine is only
one. You've kicked 3,999 chemicals to the curb and only kept the one. There will be periods where your body is gonna go, "what dah huh????" as it adjusts. They're transient things. Lot of folks here "been there, done that" and can make suggestions based on how they dealt with it (often, the answer is, "grit your teeth, it'll pass"

). But don't be surprised if some screwy side effect sneaks up on you right when things are going great. Stick around the ECF. Tons and tons of experience here. Mountains of it. Whatever you go through, somebody here has been there.
If your avatar photo is recent, you look a hell of a lot younger than I am (I'm 52 in a month... sheesh, when the hell did that happen???). You could rebound a lot faster and get through the adjustment quicker. Maybe not even notice much of it. Except the things like increased energy and your taste buds coming back to life and all. You know, the good stuff. Though, heh, having your sense of smell return does sometimes have a down side. Like driving past that plant up the road I've passed a million times. OH. MY. DOG. I had no idea it stank
that bad.
Wish this stuff had been around when I was younger. I started trying to quit in my mid-20s. My life would have been so different. If nothing else, I try not to think of all the money I blew on smoking. I always loved to travel and wanted to do Europe and such. Well, that didn't happen.
Heh, that's a thought. If you're young as your avatar suggests? Once you get really settled into vaping and start saving money (as in, I see you're in Texas, so you were paying the same kind of prices I was on cigs so I know there's a big, big difference in cost), you could start stashing away money you would have smoked away and save up for something big you wanna do...
